It's been what? 5 years since that kidnap incident? And here I am now,walking down the aisle with my kidnapper waiting for me by the altar. Who would've thought it'd end like this? No,this isn't the end,it's just the beginning of another chapter.
Si Eduardo? Oh,we became friends. Actually best man siya ni Philip. Eduardo and Claudia fixed their relationship and I see it as a win-win situation.
"Sweetie," Philip started his vows. "Who would've thought that we'd get married? Cuz five years ago,I bet I didn't. But you are here now with me in holy matrimony. Remember how peaceful that moment was when we had coffee by the veranda? I promise that everytime we quarrel,we'd end up just like that. I promise I would always bring happiness into your life. I promise that I would always make you smile whenever your day is blue. I promise that we'll fulfill our dreams together. I promise..." He took a deep breath in and smiled,"that I will love you forever and never break your heart."
I tried to stop myself from crying,but did I succeed? 'course I didn't. Philip wiped it away and gave me a smile. That damned bedimpled smile that made me fall in love the moment I saw it.
"Philip naman,'wag mo naman akong paiyakin!" I tried to lighten the mood. "Alam mo ikaw, masyado mo naman akong ib-baby niyan,eh. Alam mo ba na... Yung pagkakape natin sa veranda,it was one of my favorite moments of my existence. I looked forward to doing it again and look where we are. Mukhang matutupad na iyon. Ipinapangako ko na hindi ako magiging sakit sa ulo. Ipinapangako kong akong ang magpapangiti sa'yo hanggang sa wala ka nang makita," everyone laughed, and his was heart-warming. "Ipinapangako kong mamahalin kita ng buong-buo, walang labis,walang kulang. Pangako kong sa'yo ko lang isusuko ang sarili ko. Ikaw kaya kidnapper ng puso ko! At wala akong balak na bawiin yun. I love you so much!"
Philip and I went through a long way. Who knew our story would be like a roller coaster ride? My life changed,his life changed. And you know what wouldn't change? My kidnapper and I.
