As soon as Jaune was fully healed, he had read over and signed the paperwork making him a soldier in the GAR. As training progressed for the young knight he eventually caught the eye of the ARC troopers due to him planning ahead and putting the clones lives ahead of his own, this was noticed and the clones started treating him like a brother.

"Hey Jaune!"

"You okay crash? You weren't in another accident were you?" There was a hint of worry, but it was mostly underlined by Jaune smiling at his friend.

"*chuckle* kriff you vod. Besides, captain Fordo is looking for you." CT-2861 or "Crash" had earned his name because he alone had the largest number of speeder crashes on Kamino, over 100 of them.

"Thanks for telling me, I'm gonna see what the captain of the mullinist 10 wants with me." Jaune responded as he got changed into his training armour, and went to leave the barracks.

"He's in the citadel course"

"Thanks vod, talk to you later."

As Jaune left the barracks and headed towards the citadel training course he noticed how some of the troopers were injured from a battle and wondered how his squad would handle their first battle against the separatists when they shipped out to their new battalion in two months.

Jaune's thoughts then drifted to his squad mates. There was Crash, who was the one clone in the army who couldn't be trusted with ANY vehicle but was a decent shot with his weapon.

Then there was Joker, who loved pulling pranks on his brothers, but he would never abandon his friends, even if it cost him his life, which it had a couple of times during training.

Then there was Deadeye, and he had earned his name after the sixth time he ACED his rifle training, he was a man of few words who appeared to be cold and uncaring. Although when it came to his squad, he cared for them, even though he had. Odd ways of showing it.

And finally there was Slam, he usually thought with his z-6 but he usually did his best to help his brothers.

Eventually Jaune reached the citadel training course and found captain Fordo. "You wanted to see me captain?" The question was quick and to the point whilst Jaune saluted the captain.

"Yes I did Jaune, I've decided to recommend you for ARC trooper training."

"Thank you captain, are you sure that I'm qualified for it though?"

Well... either my judge of character has gone downhill, or command has gone crazy. Because they accepted."

"I-I I don't know what to say, sir."

"For one thing, you WILL still finish basic training with your squad, no need to worry about leaving them. Also, I will be training you... personally for the next two months until you ship out."

"T-t-t thank you sir. I won't let you down. With respect sir, I would like to inform my squad about this."

"*chuckle*" one of Frodo's rare chuckles escaped him as he looked at the young lad, 'you act more like a clone with each passing day kid, I know you won't fail me'. "Permission granted, trooper Arc, return after you've informed your squad and your training will truly begin."

"Sir, yes sir!"

With that, Jaune marched out of the chamber and ran back to his squad. Needless to say that they were surprised, even 99 was happy when he heard the news. Jaune could only prepare for the hell that captain Fordo would bring as a training instructor.
