Azalea woke up to the shout of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AZALEA!" from her best friend and dormmate, Lisa Turpin. With a start, she realized that it was her birthday today. WAIT, IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Or, to be exact, her 11th birthday. It was a special day for her as she would receive her Hogwarts letter. She ran downstairs with Lisa, then took her letter.Lisa also had one, so she took hers also and raced back up , only to be stopped by Madame B. "Where are you going?" She asked. The two girls glanced at each other, unsure about what to do as Lisa had explained to her that they were not supposed to tell muggles about magic. Madame B chuckled at their expressions, then reached into her pocket and pulled out a long thin stick. "Why are you holding a stick?" Azalea asked. Madame B smiled and said "I'm a witch. Oh, by the way, Azalea, congratulations on receiving your Hogwarts letter. And this uh...stick is my wand." Then, she put the stick-no, the wand back into her pocket.
