I snap back of my flashbacks when someone yelled in my face

"kid!"
The black man yelled

"mhm"

"anyways my name is Jorge"

Everyone started saying their names

"Brenda"

"frypan"

"Thomas"

....thomas I've heard that name before

"y/n"
I said

"nice to meet you"
Jorge said

"three questions, where are you from, where are you going, and how can I help?"

"I'm going to the safe haven, and none of your business of where I came from, and I don't want anybody's help."

Jorge shrugged and in the corner of my eye, I see some kinda buff guys walking towards me

WICKED teached me lots of stuff like learning when a person is gonna attack, how are they gonna attack and when, and I can see pretty good and hear as well

The buff guys were about to grab my arms but I ran underneath their huge arms

And I heard Brenda shout

"GET HER!"

All of their friends started running behind me but I was a bit too fast

I ran out of the building and it was night time already, it's probably dangerous to go out rn because of the cranks but oh well I gotta escape from these weird ass people

I heard that newt guy shout

"Thomas go on the side and I will go on the other"

I see thomas on the right side and newt on the other
They started trapping me in between them and Jorge went infront of me opening his arms to catch me but I slid under his legs

And ran away into the darkness and the last thing I heard was newt saying

"damn she's fast and strong"

I think they stopped following me so I went and sat on a rock staring at the moon, praying no cranks come here

God damn it we lost her, but I swear I recognize her from somewhere I just can't remember

"damn she's fast and strong"

"we gotta find her"
I said

"good luck with that, she's pretty strong for just a kid"
Jorge said

"what if we go looking for her tomorrow morning maybe we can catch her"

Everyone said
