I never thought it would end like this. My eyes were wandering around the room, getting ever so sleepier as I was taking my last breaths. I knew it would happen ever since I was diagnosed with Tuberculosis late, but I never expected that it would happen so fast. I wish I got it checked out sooner... then maybe this wouldn't have ended so soon.

I cough one last time, as my body is filled with the pain from my lungs. All the goals I planned,  all the countries I wanted to visit, the plans I made with friends in the future, they're all gone. It's too late now. In the corner of my eye I see something opening my room's door. It can't be....

"Y/N! I'm so sorry!" My best friend Aster exclaimed while bursting into tears. Unfortunately, he couldn't come near me, since I'm infectious, but I still appreciate that he came to see me in my final moments.

 I shed a tear, "Aster.. I promise that I'll stay with you no matter what, okay? Even if I'm dead." My voice is tattered, my eye sight starts to go blurry and my head becomes fuzzy. Aster quickly picks this up and bawls more.

"Y/N, please don't go.... we had so many plans together, what about Kate and Brian?" He pleads as I slowly close my near-lifeless eyes. It hurts more than any injury to see Aster like this. The freckled boy's illuminated smile was the only thing keeping me motivated some days..

All I can do is lay my head down and slowly drift off, while listening to my best friend's cries.
