"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT A JOB YOURSELF!"

Soobin can't live in peace, can he? At least not when his best friend is Choi Beomgyu, a.k.a the troublemaker. He sorted a few companies to choose the best one for Beomgyu, but the pit rat decided to make things difficult for him. Of course, he is going to yell.

"Ahh. Stop yelling!"

"You don't understand! I have to deal with THE KIM TAEHYUNG, BISH!"

Who dares to deal with Kim Taehyung? Only if they want to get their ass beaten up, and if he ever gets to know that anything wrong has ever happened to his baby bear, he'll snap and boy! That'll be scary. Honestly, Soobin was not just afraid of Kim Taehyung, but he was also worried about Beomgyu.

"Wait. Did Hyung told you to get me into any of his partnership companies?"

Now, it is Beomgyu's turn to snap. He clearly mentioned to his Hyung that he doesn't need his help or whatsoever, so when Soobin said this, the bear became grumpy. Sensing the change of tone in the younger boy's voice, Soobin tried to deviate the conversation from the fact that Taehyung always has an eye on him.

"Not really, but he wanted me to make sure you are safe, GYU! You do know who you are, right?"

"Me! I'm... I'm just Beomgyu."

Beomgyu said as a matter of fact, looking down at his feet, Soobin huffed in annoyance, and he couldn't bear this boy's ignorance. Taking a deep breath, Soobin got ready to give Beomgyu a lecture.

"No, Idiot! You are CHOI BEOMGYU! Sorry to remind you, but you are supposed to be Kim Beomgyu, just like your cousin. Like how you have assets from your parents, you have enemies too! And that's exactly why we are thriving to protect you."

"How do I getting a job affects that."

Beomgyu asked, pointing at himself, emphasising the word 'I'. Soobin even noticed the younger boy rolling his eyes.

"You are not an idiot; you are a dumbfuck, Choi Beomgyu! It's about your identity if it revealed, we don't know who might come after you, your company has rivals and an underground Mafia, well, had an underground mafia. Still, the dirty things your mafia did may have left enemies with a vengeance, and they might come after you. The thing is, we don't know what all danger you can get into. That is what is making it ten folds scarier."

Soobin said all of that in one breathe.

"There... There... Now calm down, will ya!"

"How can I calm down? When you do things out of your mind?"

"I just wanted to get a job and lead a life like an ordinary person."

Now, a sadness and unexplainable desperation was evident in Beomgyu's face, voice and hid demeanour. It is like he genuinely didn't want all his riches, power and comfort. Maybe he needed something more than a materialist world of his. Soobin noticed this and tried to say something funny, and it did work.

"That is the thing, Choi Beomgyu! you are no ordinary person, and Kim Taehyung will chop me into pieces and feed me to his dog."

"Yeontan? Nah, he won't eat you."

Beomgyu let out a little giggle that made Soobin feel better. He was happy that his stupid bestfriend who easily gets moody is now smiling. Soobin too smiled unconsciously but he can't let Beomgyu know that.

"You brat!"

Soobin tried to wrestle and keep hold of Beomgyu's neck but the bear just snuggled up and hugged Soobin like a baby panda. Soobin chuckled and they both fell on the couch. After retrieving from the hug, when the laughter died down, Something important popped up in Soobin's brain.

"Wait! Guy! Tell me your company name. I'll try to give a heads up about you to whomever the are. It must not be a difficult job, I simply have to say one name, Kim Taehyung, and all of them will be under our feet."

Beomgyu know his brother is powerful, but it felt Soobin exaggerated a bit because what he experienced today was certainly different.

"Hmm... About that, I think it's quite the opposite?"

"What do you mean?"

Soobin asked in confusion.

"That CEO didn't really like Hyung's company or even his name."

Silence

It took a minute for Soobin to process what Beomgyu just said. He blinked twice before shouting,

"WHAT! Who on earth can be like that if at all they aren't- wait, wait, wait."

That's when it hit him. No! It can't be. Right? That's not a possibility. NO WAY.

"Huh?!."

Beomgyu got confused with the sudden change of air, he could see a fear in Soobin's eyes. He got scared.

"Wherethefuckdidyougetajob?"

Soobin asked as fast as he could, it felt like he just wanted to not hear one particular name and he got frozen the next second when Beomgyu spoke.

"Ah...uhm tewhuu grwp uf compeanz !"

Beomgyu was scared and he mumbled incoherently with pleading puppy eyes, and Soobin was able to comprehend it, He probably figured it out as he know lip reading and it's his bestfriend but he didn't want to believe it, so he asked the younger boy to repeat himself, and this time, he heard it loud and clear. Boy! Telling that he got horrified is an understatement.

"WHAT GROUP OF COMPANIES NOW??!!"

"Good morning!"

Yeonjun woke up cheerfully today, he has found the perfect person for the job, and he can't wait to tell Taehyun.

"In a good mood?"

A woman who happened to be the receptionist of his department asked Yeonjun in a flirty tone, as she leaned on the desk to flash some cleavage and played with her hair, damn! It ruined Yeonjun's mood; he felt like throwing up.

If it were a particular bunny flirting with him, he would have absolutely loved it.

"Does the CEO arrived yet?"

He asked in a stern bossy voice with a serious face. Now, the woman adjusted her posture and spoke attentively.

"Yes, sir, and there is a new emp-"

Yeonjun cut her off and immediately walked past her but was greeted with someone quite familiar coming out of the CEO, I.e. Taehyun's Office. Yeonjun's eyes widened, and he yelled as he practically cursed in his fucking workplace.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!"
