Hi, I'm Richie Tozier and there are a few things you need to know about me,
1. I'm a football player
2. I'm a player
3. I have a decent friend group
4. I am protective of my reputation
5. People think I'm straight
I can't stop thinking about Eddie, and in a matter of seconds I will be able to see him again. On the bus. Its the end of the first day as a junior in high school. I'll be honest I'm just faking it till I make it. I can believe i made it this far.
"Hey eds." I said ask I walked to the back and saw him.
"Don't call me eds."
"Eh you love it. Can I sit?"
"Yeah no one is stopping you from sitting, hell you can even stand, or run."
I rolled my eyes.
"Mkay be like that." I said and sat on the seat across from him.
"Fine with me." Eddie said as he popped in his ear buds.
I could help it, my eyes left a trail on his body. I just sat there admiring him and I wasn't even going to try and hide it.
"Can I help you?" Eddie asked me as soon as he found me staring.
"You know what? Yeah. You can help me. I want to hang out with you."
"What?! Richie Tozier, what's your motive?"
"Nothing, I just wanna hang out. I wanna get to know you."
"And why is that?"
"Because you're the only person at school that doesn't go insane if I talk to them, or tells me all their secrets. You are a closed book, you're the only one that seems interesting."
You could see his face lighten and then his eyes went narrow.
"I have a feeling you're playing me."
"I am not. Trust me."
"Why should I trust you? I barely know you."
"True... but do you have a reason not to trust me?"
"Fair. Well you can hang out at my house in 2 hours. Looking for my house? Well this is it." He says and points out the window.
"Bye Richie." He gets up and walk off the bus and up his driveway.
I made sure to memorize the number on his house. 377 Maxwell road. It was a small barn red house with a slanted roof and vines crawling up the sides. It had chunky, cracked cement steps leading to the front door that was crooked in its frame. And there were dark green shutters on the dirty windows.
My house wasn't as cute as his. His house was a cute clubhouse lame, my house was just plain lame. Anyways... I can't wait.
After I got my quick assignments out of the way I hopped in the shower and headed over to 377 Maxwell road aka Eddie's house.
I knocked on the door with a million beats in my body, I could feel a lump in my throat, I have never been this nervous/excited. And that isnt where it stopped.
