it was around 7:00pm. the pair were at their date for 1hour and 30mins at this point but that didn't matter because they were having a great time, laughing and talking...
"this is nice" Y/N let out a sigh and sipped her, no way, shirley temple.
"it is...i'm glad you got the confidence because i sure as hell didn't." Aidan smiled and gazed at Y/N
"well you should really thank kelsey she told me you like me- i mean she didn't tell me she inferred that you did-" Y/N rambled into her words
"oh she did now huh?" Aidan raised his eyebrows, "oh i'm gonna beat her-"
"excuse me! waitress? can we have our check please?" Y/N interrupted Aidan. The same waitress from before came by and smiled still skeptical about aidan.
"of course kids." she nodded and walked away

"Thanks for walking me home danny, you didn't have too." Y/N nudged Aidans shoulder
"no problem, i mean after all you are my date sooo..." Aidan shrugged and kept walking
"yeah yeah i know." Y/N giggled and rubbed her elbow
as she went to release her hand from her elbow she felt something brush against her hand... that something was aidans hand. she felt his fingers drag across the top of hers and make their way through them, intertwining their hands together.
they walked in a comfortable silence holding eachothers hands.
they reached Y/N house and Y/N quickly released their hands
"thanks for everything. uhm see you later." Y/N opened her door but aidan stopped her
"wait-" aidan turned her around and leaned in placing a quick kiss on her cheek. Y/N blushed and smiled shyly.
"see you later." aidan smiled and waved away.
Y/N grinned giddy and walked into her door.
she turned to the kitchen and saw bottles of empty alcohol on the counter.
her mom was home.
