I had asked Blake and Kalani to drop me off at the airport. I wanted to avoid Jax as much as possible.
The last few weeks I was home, I did exactly that. The last, and only, thing I had said to him was, "can you pass the pepper?"
So, were they still together? Was I single for the first time in 3 years?
I tried to put that thought out of my head. I needed to focus on acting, for now. --

-- Some loud footsteps walked around the small apartment about 20 minutes after I got there. When I cowardly walked out of my bedroom, I couldn't help but notice a tall man at the doorway. Jonathan Daviss.
I had met Jd during our chemistry read and January, but we never talked after that.
"Hey!" I smile kindly when Jd's head lifts up from his bag on the ground.
"Hey!" He smiles back.
We talk a bit before I receive a phone call.
"I'm sorry. I'm just gonna take this."
"Yeah, of course."

-- I hung up quickly and walked back into the almost empty living room.
"Are you okay?" Jd asks as I slowly come back in.
I scratch the edge of my nose and press my lips together. "Yeah. I'm fine." I lie.
"Okay." He smiles.
It was obvious he didn't believe me, but I didn't care.
"I'm gonna go start setting up my room. Were you planning on going to Chase and Rudy's tonight?" I ask.
"Uh, if you want to, sure."
"Cool. Wanna go around 6?" I suggest. "It give us about 3 hours."
"Sounds good." He smiles.
I could tell we would get along fine. He was sweet and the type of guy to go with the flow. I liked that.
