Chloe couldn't keep still as she sat in front of the mirror, the hairdresser tying her hair back into a fancy bun completed with little flowers and fake diamonds. "Stop being so nervous Chloe you'll be fine!" Kennedy who was stood behind her tried motivating her. She didn't have a bump anymore, their baby girl Lara was born healthily about a week after Gary and Chloe had left.
"I know it's just... this is our big day, what if I mess up? What if I mess up the words or fall over in these ridiculous heels?" Kennedy walked over and gently put a hand on her shoulder. "Stop stressing. If you stress you WILL do something wrong okay?" Chloe took a deep breath and nodded. 33 minutes yet. She was already over excited. And she missed Gary. She hadn't seen him since they'd both gone off on their hen- and stagnights. And she'd done surprisingly well not to get too drunk, she didn't want a hangover on her wedding day.
"Hello" Chloe turned as she heard her mum's voice. She stood up and walked over to her taking Liam off her. He smiled up at her. "eh love. Not much longer now then me and daddy will be together properly okay?" she gently kissed his forehead. "How are you?" her mum asked. "nervous. has Gary arrived yet." her mum nodded "You know I don"t quite approve of him-" - "Mum please not now!" - "no let me finish. But he is gorgeous Chloe where did you find him?" She smiled to herself. "Heaven."
"10 minutes Chloe." Kennedy announced. Chloe sighed. "mum I'm so nervous." - "I know darling. c'mon give your old mum a hug." she held out her arms and chloe did as she asked. "You'll be fine." Chloe pulled away and forced a smile. "This is it. I'm gonna be married." She grinned widely. "So you are miss Calver." Her mum smiled "last time I'm gonna call you that." Chloe couldn't stop the grin from spreading across her face. "I should be going." Chloe handed Liam to her and kissed her cheek. "see you in 7 minutes" she said shutting the door behind her. 7 minutes. okay. Chloe did her last-minute checks, her makeup, hair and brushed down her big wedding dress. It was beautiful. Kennedy smiled at her. "Ready? we got 3 minutes we should get going." Chloe nodded. She was so nervous. She'd never been so nervous in her life. They headed out the side room and out into the boiling July sun. Chloe could already feel the sweat on her spine. It was much too hot. Okay, half way to the church. She closed her eyes and did her best to carry on ahead with a pounding headache. "You alright?" Kennedy asked her as she noticed her pained expression. "N-no, it's too, too..." She couldn't finish her sentence before she collapsed. Kennedy did her best to catch her an gently lay her on the ground. "Chloe? Chloe c'mon, Chloe!" She tried to open her eyes but she couldn't. She noticed someone running to the church. She'd ruined their wedding. Exactly what she'd feared. Tears pooled in her eyes. This was supposed to be her special day. She heard footsteps running towards her and two familiar strong arms hold her. "Chloe! Chloe!" Sche felt herself being lifted up off the ground and carried away somewhere. No.

The next thing Chloe saw was the inside of her bride's room. she was lying on the couch. Chloe saw some sort of doctor sat next to her. "hello chloe" he smiled "you need to drink." Chloe was handed a glass of water and tried pushing herself up to drink. "w-what happened?" - "you got stressed. and then the heat. not a good combination." she rubbed her head. Oh god. the wedding. "Where's Gary?" The doctor stepped aside to reveal Gary leaning against the wall sideways with crissed arms looking out of the window. he looked gorgeous. "Gary?" he turned his head as he heard her voice and immediately walked over kneeling down next to her. " You look beautiful." he said quietly. "I'm so sorry Gary." chloe whispered. "S'okay, don't worry, we'll sort something out." She started crying uncontrolably and Gary pulled her up into a sitting position so he could hug her properly. "shh it's okay Chloe." - "I-I'm sorry Gary I ruibed everything." - "Chloe it's not your fault. I'm not angry at all. Calm down, we'll get another date soon ey?" She nodded and he wiped the tears of her face. "You okay?" - "Yep." she choked. "c'mon" he stood up holding out a hand "let's go home." she took his hand and stood up. Without hesitation he kissed her passionately. he drew his tongue along her bottom lip and she opened her mouth letting him in and she copied him searching every corner of his mouth. "I still love you" he said hoarsely as they broke apart. Chloe drew her hands down his chest. "You're so beautiful." - "naah you don't mean that." - "No you are. so hot." - "hot maybe. beautiful, no that's your job." he grinned at her. that grin that warms you up from the inside out. "c'mon" he said pulling her out.
Her mother was waiting for them at the car still golding Liam. "Oh Chloe you're alright" she hugged her daughter tightly. "I'm okay." - "What are you gonna do now?" Gary shrugged "home. and then find another date I guess."
They strapped Liam into his car seat and sat down in the front of the car.Gary rested his hand on Chloe's thigh. She knew he was much more uoset than he was letting on. "I was so ready to be Chloe Barlow." She said quietly as they drove off. As she looked over at him she noticed something small at the side of his neck near his ear. She reached out and traced the scar with her finger. He winced slightly and she pulled away. It was kinda big but bareky visible. She'd never found out what he'd done exactly but that must've been it. "I love you" she said quietly. Gary just smiled
