~ MORGAN'S POV

*first day of school*

i quickly change into my outfit for the day and brush my hair. after packing my bag and saying goodbye to my family, i head downstairs and leave through the front door to see louis standing by his car, waiting for me.

"you took your time," louis complains sarcastically.

"oh shut it, i know you've only been waiting for like 3 minutes," i nudge him before getting into the car.

"yeah yeah whatever," he laughs as he also gets in the car and starts driving.

10 minutes later, we arrive in the parking lot of the college. we both get out of the car, our focus instantly falling upon the huge building that stood before us.

"damn, it looks way bigger than it did when we came for induction day," louis stares in awe.

i stare with him, admiring our new school. wow.

after a minute, i snap out of my trance, "c'mon louis, we have to go or we're going to be late,"

"you do realise we left early so we weren't late, right?"

"true but, well.. still," i stammer. without thinking, i grab his hand and start pulling him towards the entrance. as i realise he isn't resisting, my cheeks heat up. what am i doing? and why is he okay with holding my hand?

as if he can sense there is something wrong, he stops walking, causing me to stop as well.

"hey, is everything okay? you suddenly tensed up," he looks at me with a concerned expression, making me blush even more.

i stare at him until i'm able to gather all my thoughts and form a few words, "oh um.. its nothing i- uh.." i could tell he knew i was lying and that something was wrong, so i quickly made up a reason, "i remembered i told nick i would message him when we arrived,"

"oh then i guess you better text him," louis says in a confused tone, probably wondering why i had such a big reaction to 'forgetting to text nick'.

i look at him as i fake a smile, in hope that he now believes that i'm okay, even though i'm still flustered.

i lean against a car and end up texting nick to make sure louis doesn't get suspicious again.

after exactly 5 minutes, nick meets us by the entry doors. me and louis haven't said much to each other since my freak out.

"you guys are unusually quiet," nick says, smirking when we make eye contact. i roll my eyes at him in anticipation, but grateful for his appearance.

"hey bro," stepping away from the wall he was leaning on, louis greets him.

we finally enter the college through the open doors to the side of us.
