Alex's POV
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, I opened my eyes. Burr was watching me closely, then he spoke,
"I am not saying I don't believe you Alexander, but if you are speaking the truth then you have done nothing wrong.", He gave me a faint smile. I nodded, grabbed my bookbag, moving towards the door.
"You can stay here tonight or as long as you need till you can get a dorm".
"Thank you Aaron", with that, I left. The cold air bit at my uncovered cheeks, my lips dry, and my eyes burning. I took a breath and headed to class.
My first class was History. My top favorite. I was nervous though, John and Laf take this class too. I couldn't bear to see them, but I wasn't about to skip Mr. Adam's class just because of them. I pushed the door and peeked in. John and Laf were joking around sitting on a desk, James and Thomas are sharing notes, and other students with our teacher. I step in, avoiding looks from John or Laf. I find a seat in the back, hidden away.
Mr. Adam's isn't going to like how quiet I am going to be today, I thought, biting my lip. Mr. Adams' started class.
James's POV
I was listening to Mr. Adam discuss governmental history for today's class when I spotted Hamilton in the back, not near his overly loud and obnoxious friends. Nudging Thomas,
"What?", He whispers.
"Look at Hamilton, he isn't with his loud-ass friends", I pointed. Thomas's eyebrows knotted for a split second as if he was contemplating.
"Okay? I don't care what is going on with Hamilton, Jemmy", Thomas shrugged. I glanced over to Hamilton, only for him to be glaring back. I looked away, focusing on Mr. Adam.

After class, I was discussing a time for Tommy and me to study for our upcoming test but he seemed distracted.
"Are you listening Tommy?", I stepped in front of him. Thomas jumped, "Sorry... I was lost in thought, what?".
I just sighed, "It's nothing".
