Sweeter than sugar
It had been almost a whole 4 months after everything. Now Obanai was sitting on the rooftop again. He was staring at the sky.
His snake Kaburamaru was playing in the school rooftop garden.
His face had healed and so hand most of the scaring. He could wear regular shoes.
Midterms had just came to a close and the new semester classes were coming way. His birthday had already came. So now he was 18 years old.
He had already looked into houses near the University he and (M/n) wanted to attend.
Oh yeah his boyfriend.
He was sitting next to Muichiro on the bench blowing bubbles with him. Even though he could never show his face to other until he knows he can trust them himself. (y/n) was an exception.
He was happy for once.
He was staying with the Kamado's in the older twins old room. Yoriichi and Michikatsu moved out for their college classes and were going to attend and live on campus for full time.
So it was basically him, (y/n), and all the younger siblings. Who he had gotten along with perfectly.
He smiled underneath the mask looking at all of them.
They were his family.

"Did you know your parents at all? Like what were they like?"
"Ah no not really, my dad died from sickness. My mom and other siblings died in a plane crash."
Obanai's eyes widen.
The two lovers were enjoying ice cream at night in the eldest room.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."
"Its okay. I know they love me and are happy for me. Plus I know they would support me and how I raised Tanjiro and Nezuko."
"Wonder how they would feel about me?"
"I think they would like you, like me."
He continued to eat his sundae they made a few minutes ago.
"But Obanai did you enjoy being 18? Your technically an adult. You can do whatever you want."
He shrugged.
He was happy with what he had.
He sighed in content and continued eating the cold dessert. It was sweet and nice.
"Obanai?"
He hummed and turned around.
"Yes?"
"I love you!" (y/n) said with a smile.
