Chapter 4: mistakes

I woke up around 10:38am and I noticed Dabi was gone. I sat up and rubbed my eyes for 5 seconds, then checked my phone and saw a text from bakugou. My eyes widened and I started to freak out. I bursted out of bed because there was terribly service in the house.

I start running down stairs and I notice Dabi chilling on the couch. "Hey y/n, how'd you sleep?" I completely ignore him and run as fast I can towards the door. He gets up and walks towards me. He walks up in front of me and says "are you trying to escape from me doll?" I look at him dead in the eye and say "dabi, I appreciate the help, but right now, I'm gonna need you to fuck off, I have important business to do." I look down at my phone and bakugou starts calling me back. I start freaking out and bakugou notices my phone. He grabs it from my hand and reads out "who the hell is "babe, and why is he calling you?" I snatch my phone from him and say "I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to take this." I use my quirk and blast his feet with ice and open the door wide open and freeze it close. I can hear Dabi yelling "GOD DAMMIT Y/N COME BACK HERE"

I pick up the phone and yell at bakugou. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, WHY HAVENT YOU ANSWERED ME?!" He stays silent and I yell "ANSWER ME" he finally reply's and says "y/n, I'm so sorry, just give me some time and we'll go back to our old lives. I don't have much time, I have to go." before I can even process a word he hangs up. I start crying, but not of sadness, but plain anger.

Dabi slams through the door and grabs me by the neck and is choking me. "Who the hell do you think you are telling me to fuck off, huh? I swear to god, you truly are a whor-" before he can finish his sentence he realizes the tears dripping down my chin. He looks at me and throws places me on the ground. "I'm sorry y/n." I look at him and say "get the hell away from me." I go back inside and come back out with my bags. "Where are you going y/n? Dabi  says confused. "Since I'm homeless because of my jackass of a boyfriend and I have nothing else in life besides this bag, I'm gonna have to live next door because this neighborhood looks abandoned as hell, almost like me!" Before I leave I tell him "what you and me did last night was a mistake! Just forget it alright!" I storm away and slam the door open next door. Dabi just stares and doesn't say a word.

Dabi's POV:

I see y/n walk away from me and I feel terrible. I walk inside my house and open the fridge for some beer. I walk up to my room and sit down on my bed and think for a bit. I look up at my celling and start taking, "why did I do that to her, I haven't been a bit nice to her and haven't even asked what happened to her. She's angry at me, so I'm guessing it isn't the right time, damn I miss her already, even if she's next door. I start to think to myself and think about how amazing she looked yesterday and how much I wanted her even more. I started to get hard and immediately stood up. I started laughing and stopped and looked at the wall. I realized behind that wall is y/n's room. I walk up to it and get an idea. A smirk forms onto my face and I say.

"If y/n doesn't want to see me, I guess I'll have to spy on her for a bit."
