"I can't believe you guys chose New York for your honeymoon. Why not... Paris... or, Hawaii?" I sighed, stuffing the last blouse in my suitcase then sitting on top of it and looking at my nails.
"Mom, Spencer and I like New York. Also, we're only going for a week." She scoffed, my dads groan barely audible but clearly there causing me to roll my eyes. I didn't know I was on speaker, something my mother loved to do every so often without telling me.
"It's so dangerous though... honey, you know I worry." I bit my tongue, still confused how Paris another country or Hawaii a state surrounded by water was better or safer. I've been to the city... clearly, and it was never that bad. She's over reacting. I mean, hell. I live thirty minutes from D.C.
"I know, mom, I know. Spence is gonna be home soon though, I love you... you too, dad." His loud laugh blared through the screen, a gasp leaving my moms lips followed by a small slap noise and a quick goodbye. Once we were off the phone I let out a long awaited breath, the lock of the front door turning just on time.
"Princess," I greeted him at the door, running into his arms not even giving him the chance to take his bag off. "You ready to go?" He threw his arms swiftly around my waist, his hair sculpting his face like a super model as he stared into my eyes. I swallowed, my glance fluctuating from his rolled up shirt sleeves to his eyes. He smirked, but I cut him off.
"Ah, ah, ah... remember, I'm pregnantttt." He rolled his eyes, his hand dancing away from my body and down the freshly painted wall.
"That didn't stop us last night..." I gulped, watching his hand slide as he rounded the corner. He always had something to say that Spencer Reid- something indeed...

"I love it here." There was a weird unexplainable cheesy grin plastered across Spencer's face, his arms wrapping around my body as he thanked the front desk lady and took our keys.
"Yeah, me too." He kissed my cheek, his hand sweeping to mine and pulling me into the elevator. Once the doors closed he turned and grabbed my face, my arms quick to tie around his neck as my leg started to find its way around his waist. He paused. "You're pregnant, El." I whined, regretting not terminating the small being inside of me at this exact moment.
"It's okay, Princess. This way we can explore the city." His small words lit up my face, his hand cupping my cheek as the other grabbed my hand and kissed it. "Now, let's go have some pg fun, baby." I rolled my eyes, dragging my body behind his and watching as he struggled to open the hotel door with the key.
"Spence, you just swipe it like this... almost like a credit card." He sent me a look, shaking his head then mumbling something under his breath. "What was that?" He turned again, this time swooping me up in his arms and chucking me down on my back so I'd fall against the bed.
"I don't care how pregnant you are if you're going to act like a fucking brat I'll still fuck it out of you. Do you understand me?" I was about to reply, but the sound of Spencer's phone rang through our ears. His eyes were still steamy as he got off of me, still managing to tower over my body as he plugged his exposed ear like we were in a crowded room.
"Who is it?" My words were just above a whisper, Spencer holding up his finger as he conversed with the unknown person.
"El, we have to go back home. Now." I was sat there confused, slowly pushing myself up and sending him another look. "El, come on." I sighed, looking out at the pretty city view and letting my smile drop slowly.
Well, I guess what they say is true... duty calls.
