Tommy Innit did not expect to have a break down today. He also wasn't expecting to be lightly pushed onto a comfy couch, handed hot chocolate, and told to talk whenever he felt ready.

Definitely not expected when a certain pink haired war veteran dragged him out of the snow to do all the afore mentioned things.

But thats in the future. When we see Tommy its just after he's made his tower, he's sitting atop it, staring out at the sunset, watching the colors mix and fade into one another.

Its as he stares that he realizes the truth about Dream. And with this realization fresh on his mind, he jumps into the water below.

Tommy huffs out a staggered breath as he pushes through the snow, his anger at Dream the only thing keeping him going. His feet have long lost feeling, as had his hands, in the past hours he'd been walking.

He didn't remember exactly where the house he was headed to was, but he felt a familiar tug in his chest at the thought of getting there. So he followed the tug. Pushing on and hoping he wouldn't die before or after he got there.

After forever he thought he saw a light in the darkness, but his eyes were fuzzy with cold and deliriousness of no t sleeping. He was so, so close, just a few more steps and he'd be there.

*whish* Came the sound of an arrow as it thunked into his right shoulder, the force making him fall forward and the pain making him scream.

He brought a freezing hand up to touch the arrow but flinched away from it at the flare of pain it added to. He winced as he pushed himself up into a sitting position and immediately fell back down when another arrow whistled by, slicing his ear and making it bleed and allowing a yelp to escape his lips.

His eyes struggled to stay open as a voice shouted and more arrows cut through the air. He barely heard the sound of bones clattering to the ground and snow crunching under heavy boots.

He didn't notice as arms wrapped around him and a familiar voice shouted his name.

His world slipped to silky black nothingness.
