Lucille Granger.

Merlin, how should I describe her?

She's a rare breed, I tell you.

I remember the day where I first saw her in that train to Hogwarts in my first year. I was sitting right next to Draco and Blaise, and we were chatting about how excited and nervous we are going to wizarding school for the first time.

Blaise has been our best friend since we were kids. He often came to our house just to steal some of mumsy's delicious pumpkin pasties, because he literally could smell it from his front porch. I have to say, it's quite mouth watering. Unlike the regular pumpkin pasties, she often combined the pumpkin puree with mascarpone and some fresh cinnamon, a little dash of vanilla essence, sprinkle some confectioner's sugar on top, and voila. Even I couldn't resist to grab a bite.

It was 8 in the morning. I can hear a sudden door bell ring. Quite early for someone to actually come to our house, I reckon. Draco and I was in the middle of breakfast, and both of us ran towards the window, wondering who that might be. 'Not another Daily Prophet journalist,' I mumbled.

"Oh, um, hi, uhh, I was just walking across the street and I sense this incredible smell of pastries. I hope you don't mind me asking."

"You must be Mr. Zabini's son. It's Blaise isn't it?"

"Yes ma'am. Blaise Zabini. You can call me Blaise. What a lovely house you have."

"Why thank you, Blaise. I'm Narcissa, but you can call me Cissy."

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Mal... I mean.... Mrs. Cissy... uh..."

Narcissa chuckled as she welcomed Blaise into the house.

"Well, it's good to see you. Have you ever met my sons, Draco and Lorenzo? I think you will get along well with them. Come in, I'll grab you some pumpkin pasties."

As time goes, those random visits turn into regular family dinners, and even sleepovers. What would we do without Blaise, really? He's our best bud.

Hold on, where was I? Oh right. The train.

I was about to buy some Chocolate Frogs until I saw two girls rushing in the corridor carrying their heavy trunks. It seems like they couldn't find an empty seat, but I didn't want to intrude.

Until one of them slipped and fell. I was trying to hold my laugh but I couldn't.

"Well, well, well. Seems like you need help love."

"Ugh, clearly. Such a bad luck..."

I wasn't really paying attention until she turned over and saw me standing right in front of her. Blimey, I was completely lost over her beautiful green pair of eyes. Almost turquoise-like, but in a lighter tone. It was quite sunny at that moment, so you can see some sun rays hitting over her face from the windows, which brings a speck of golden linings in it too. I've never seen such beautiful eyes before.

"Shut it Luce. We can handle these ourselves. Ouch..."

Oh yeah, that's Onyx DeLoughrey. The tough girl who always tried to act cool every single time a person tried to offer a hand. Little did I know, she became one of my best friends in life.

"Looks like you need some help. Here, I got you."

I grabbed Lucille's and Onyx's hands at the same time and pulled them up. Thank god their trunks weren't as heavy, so it was pretty easy for me to carry them both after I showed them my cabin.

Draco scoffs while Blaise scooted over to give some space.

"Oh great. I thought this is exclusive for us boys."

"Hey, give it a break Draco. Why don't we introduce ourselves to these lovely ladies. I'm Lorenzo, the one who just saved your day earlier."

"And I'm Blaise. Enchanté."

"Draco Malfoy. Go sit next to Blaise there. Clearly he couldn't lay off his fucking eyes from you both."

"Please. I'm Lucille Granger and this is Onyx. You can call her Onny for shor-"

"All of you dickheads better call me Onyx otherwise I'll fucking punch you in the face. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am..." Blaise and I answered lowly in unison. As a matter of fact, Blaise was a bit intimidated by her. Silly Blaise.

Suddenly, Lucille asked me this one simple question. It might not seem special to everyone, but this was the moment where I knew, I had to bring her down to my knees.

"Enzo. Can I call you Enzo?"

My heart is filled with butterflies, and somehow it took me a few seconds to reply her. Never in a million years did someone came up with such a nickname. Don't get me wrong, I love it dearly.

I was trying so hard not to blush, and again keeping my fucking creepy eyes off her, so I boldly answered,

"Why of course Luce. Can I call you Luce, or Lucy?"

"Whatever feels comfortable for you, Enzo."

Her cheeks were flushing while she answered. Her cute dimples protrudes again. Definitely my kryptonite there.

You know, those times where you can't seem to forget a single word out of your hollow head and it keeps playing all over because it was so memorable, and you want it to repeat for the rest of your life?

This is the moment.

You don't care if your heart is racing four thousand five hundred twenty six beats per seconds, way a lot more compared to what you normally do. Shit - how did I came up with that stupid number. You'll die for fuck sake, dumbass. Anyways, you get my point.

You don't care if it makes you smile like a moron, oddly enough it made your cheeks hurt. You couldn't contain those butterflies, it made your toes curled. Ding, ding, ding. Stupid Enzo – head over heels to a girl he just met.

It's just, there was this sense of warmth that I felt when she said that. It's been too long, I think I was longing for it. And the best part is that it came from her. What a girl.

I remember at that time, Draco wasn't really aware that Lucille is a muggle-born witch, so he was being friendly with her most of the time.

But then,

I wasn't paying attention to him on the rest of the trip,

because all I did was admiring her from afar,

hiding behind my book,

pretending that I'm reading this novel that I got from Diagon Alley,

when really,

all I did was to read her pink, moist lips,

that glistens everytime she pursed it,

thinking that somehow,

someday,

she might feel the same way.

And boy oh boy, I was just getting started.

NOT ME THINKING THAT I'M GOING TO WRITE A WHOLESOME CHAPTER. As much as I know that some of you might have a love-hate relationship on Lucille, I must say this first impression of Enzo towards her is something that I need to highlight. That this is just a starting point to everything.

Also side note, any paragraphs that I marked with italics was meant to be flashbacks.

Anyways, what do you think so far? Please vote and comment if you like it! Very much appreciated 🙌
