2011 Part 2

Jungkook PoV

That morning I had classical vocal lessons first and saw Taehyung sitting there already. He was playing with his pen on the table and as soon as he saw me his face lit up.

TH: Jungkook ah, You are in this class too. I am so glad

He was smiling brightly and I smiled back. As soon as I sat down he asked

TH: Are you from Seoul?

JK: No, I came from Busan Taehyung hyung

TH: wow, that's far. You must be missing your parents.

He told it casually and then looked at me. For the first time I looked into his eyes and I had a weird feeling that Taehyung read my mind. I looked away quickly, and took my music notes to practice. He didn't continue the topic and I felt thankful.

TH: Btw, you don't have to call me, hyung. Let's be best friends instead.

There was his boxy smile again and I couldn't help but smile back.

JK: ha ha, no. I will always call you hyung only.

TH: Okay, your wish. Yah Jungkook ah can you show me your music notes?

I knew he had to start from scratch and so decided to help him out. I explained my previous day music notes to him. Taehyung tried to follow but his voice cracked in between and he became shy.

It's okay, You will get there Taehyung hyung. Just keep practicing' I told him and he nodded as he kept trying until the teacher came. When our teacher entered, I was singing my own composition that I wrote a week back as Taehyung saw them and begged me to sing. I couldn't say no to his hopeful face even though I didn't like to sing my personal songs for anyone.

'You must be the new trainee.' The teacher told as we got up and bowed to her.

'Yes, I am Kim Taehyung mam' he said and shook her hand.

'You must be really special. Jungkook doesn't sing for anyone unless he is on evaluation or practicing' she told and winked at Taehyung. I felt flustered as I kept turning my note pages and didn't look up at them.

Our teacher gave us separate sets of lessons to math our individual pace. I heard Taehyung practicing and couldn't help but feel that he had a really unique voice. If it could be trained well, then he could really make a difference.

We had hip hop, contemporary and group choreo lessons together as well. I noticed he was hyper-active and kept on talking or doing something. He was exactly opposite to me as he loved talking to strangers and befriending people. It was only his second day and I could feel the whole company knew him already.

Three days later we were packing up our bags after our lessons to go back to our dorm when Taehyung pulled me from the rest of the group.

'Lets go shopping' he told brightly. I was taken aback at first to see he didn't invite anyone else, but then agreed to go.

We informed Jin hyung that we will be back within sunset and left. We were walking on the streets and he kept asking me which style I liked pointing at different clothes at different shops. I hadn't really thought about it before but kept picking the dark colored shirts telling him that would be more of my style. Taehyung picked out the flowery patterned shirts and showed that was his style. Wow we really don't have anything in common, I thought.

'Taehyung hyung, Are you going to buy them all?' I asked looking at the clothes he was trying out.

'No Jungkook ah, not today' he told. 'I don't have money yet. I have to wait until my mom sends me money'
