Shinsou

Chapter 3; Battle with ex

2 years later~

Shinsou was getting ready for patrol, his cat playing with one of his cat toys.

Shinsou was putting on his shoes when his phones rings. Unknown number.

He picked up. "Hello?" His tired voice rang.

"Hey, wanna patrol with me?" A familiar voice came.

Shinsou sighed. "Denki-"

"I know, I know, it's weird, but please? I've been patrolling by myself all these years. Maybe we can go get something to eat and be friends" Denki inerupted.

Shinsou sighed, smiling a little. "Alright. Meet me by the college" he said, then hung up.

Shinsou stood outside the college building, waiting for Kaminari.

He was wearing his improved hero costume and his dad's goggles and scarf. It's been 2 years since his death and he hasn't been so happy ever since. He felt more depressed and alone, he just wanted to jump off a cliff and die. He couldn't do that right now, though.

Kaminari swooped up next to him, taking him out of his thoughts.

"Ready?" Denki asked. Shinsou sighed and nodded.

They left and took off towards a restaurant, people staring and whispering on about them.

They sat down at a outside given table, looking at the menus provided.

"So why did you want to patrol with me?" Shinsou asked, starting the conversation.

Denki took a deep breath. "I miss you, Hitoshi" he said.

Shinsou rolled his eyes. "You're doing better without me. You're probably living with Mina now and cheating on her"

"No, I'm living alone. We were just talking, Shinsou, and that was years ago! I want you"

"I don't want you, you cheated on me with her"

Denki sighed. "Again, that was years ago and we were just talking, I loved you"

Shinsou looked at him, frowning. "You might do it again"

"I swear I won't! Baby, please"

"Don't call me baby!" Shinsou shouted, people staring at them then going on with their day.

Denki put his hand on Shinsou's. "Just think about it? Please?" He begged.

Shinsou shook his hand away and nodded. "Fine" he said.

Denki smiled and continued looking at his menu.

Then a scream came out of no where.

Denki and Shinsou dropped everything and stood up, looking around for trouble.

Then came in front of them was a new villain. Big, male, animal faces everywhere.

"Its a new fellow! Might need to take it easy to learn his quirk" Denki told Shinsou as he activated his quirk and slowly walked towards the villain.

Shinsou followed behind him.

This villain, known as Wildcat (made up name, half dog, half cat), wore clothing of furr from all sorts of animals he hunted down.

He laughed as he saw the two heros approaching him.

"Whatever you're planning, we ask you nicely to go back to where you came from" Denki demanded.

The villain laughed and activated his quirk, purple lighting around him and his hands.

"Tell me, boy, what's your favorite animal?" He asked, dark voice.

"You're making a fool of yourself" Shinsou said, putting in his goggles.

He had a similar quirk to Aizawa's, except he couldn't erase the quirk, just brainwash.

Right as he was about to control the villain, another villain came in to fight.

Denki was distracted with this other new villain while Shinsou was distracted with the animal guy.

But when he was about to use his quirk, he was knocked out cold.

The last thing he heard was Denki's voice calling his name.
