Today I'll be teach you about 'ten-ten' and 'maru' ( or dakuten and handakuten). They are use next to a Japanese character to make it sound different. ( for example か/ka = が/ga)

'ten ten' are two lines next to the top of the character and 'maru' is a circle next to the top of a character, also maru means circle

ぎ : as "gee" in geese

ぐ : as "goo" in goose

げ : as "ge" in get

ご : as "go" in gore

ざ : as "za" in bizarre

じ : as "jee" in jeep

ず : as "zoo" but shorter

ぜ : as "ze" on zest

ぞ : as "zo" in Azorens

だ : as "da" in dark

ぢ : as "jee" in jeep

づ : as "zoo" but shorter

で : as "de" in desk

ど : as "doo" In door

ば : as "ba" in bark

び : as "bea" in beak

ぶ : as "boo" boot

べ : as "be" in beg

ぼ : as "bo" in bore

ぱ : as "pa" in park

ぴ : as "pea" in peak

ぷ : as "poo" in pool

ぺ : as "pe" in peg

ぽ : as "po" in pork
