Ellie had listened to the whole story. She had heard everything and now could peice everything together. Henry had chosen her to be his right hand lady because he had experience with her as a partner in multiple different timelines. Even now she remembered the drinking contest where she was the only person capable of partnering up with him. Of course this want always the case. But for the most part, they were probably an unstoppable duo. Ellie got ready to leave when Henry stopped her.
Henry: I need you to promise me you'll never tell anyone of any of this.
Ellie looked at him with confusion in her eyes.
Ellie: Wait. Not even my friends?
Henry: No one. Absolutely nobody can know about this. It's too much for anyone to know. I'm just glad you handled this well.
Ellie: Ok then. I promise.
Henry: Thank you. Goodbye for now.
She walked out of the corridor while Henry remained inside. The wall slid shut and it blended in so well that you never would have been able to tell that their was something behind there. She looked at the clock and saw the time was now to 11:25. Tired she walked out of the room and back to her room.
The next day...
Ellie decided to go have lunch with the rest of the executives instead of in the main cafeteria. Burt and Carol had understood and it seemed they actually wanted to spend together without Ellie.• Still, Ellie didn't have to go poking in their business. She arrived at the door outside the executive private hall (or E.P.H. for short) and entered.Inside it was like a VIP actors lounge. Their were multiple tables scattered around along with bottles filled with the best drinks one could consume. Over on one side were 3 pool tables. Next to them was a buffet of different foods. There was everything there from over 25 different kinds of pizza and plenty of salad combos to lots of Italian and Indian specials. There were so many sushi combos, so many fishes and steaks and so much more. It was an overwhelming sight to say the least.
Ellie decided to get some lasagnha and some Greek salad. Looking for where to go she decided to sit at the table where only 3 members were: Henry, Right hand man and Reginald. Although she had talked to Henry a lot, she hadn't got much of an interaction with the other executives. So this was her best bet at at least trying to make some new friends.
Ellie: Uhh hey. Do any of you mind if I come here?
Reginald: No problem. You can sit next to Right. I'm Reginald Copperbottom by the way.
Ellie: I'm Ellie. Ellie Rose.
Reginald: Yeah. I saw what you did at the contest. I'm still amazed you managed to beat Henry at drinking.
Ellie: Yea. I guess it's just cause I've got a thing for being able to prolong the time I can drink for. It goes back in my family.
Reginald: I usually can only stomach a bottle and a half before it comes back up.
RHM: Speaking of which that reminds me of the time a friend of mine managed to drink 2 bottles of tequila at 23 and had no indication of being drunk. I don't even think he was drunk.
Ellie: You're joking. Tell me how it happened.
Over the next hour Ellie, gained a friendship with Reginald and Right hand man. Reginald had dared Henry to play against him in pool while Henry was drunk on vodka. The loser would owe the winner 300k bucks. Meanwhile Ellie and Right hand man talked about different topics that they both were interested in including sports, different films and even marketing. Eventually the lunch break ended. But while Ellie had walked in by herself now she walked out having made some new friends.
What she didn't know was that she had caught the attention of somebody? And this time, it was in a more emotional way.
