"Who were they?" Dina asked once we passed.
"Rangers of the human empire," I replied, narrowing my eyebrows.
"Wait, were they the Emperor's Rangers?" Dina asked nervously. "Please tell me you didn't offend him."
"I didn't do much," I shrugged. "But pray that they don't go after us."
We were silent for a bit. "So, what's your plan?" Dina asked. "You left the desert, now what?"
I turned and looked at her. "I don't really know," I replied. "My old duty failed. I don't know what to do and how to go forward. Right now we're looking for a place to get materials to build living quarters on Anua's shell."
"So, you'll have a traveling house?" Dina questioned.
"I'll be adding many things in there," I stated. "Perhaps a mansion with all our needs and maybe a few helpers."
"How will you have that much money?" Dina asked.
"We could start with a tent for now," I stated, sitting down on my seat and buckling my seatbelt. "I don't want to sell any more of my belongings so I should start earning money."
"How about joining a guild?" Dina asked. "You can join a guild and I can probably open a restaurant on Nua's shell while we travel. Or perhaps something else."
I looked at Dina. "Where did you get that idea from?" I asked.
"It was from an old story," Dina stated. "Written on a tablet of the Old World."
I frowned. This was the first I'd heard of this. "The old world?" I asked. "What's the Old World?"
"You really haven't been out much, have you?" Dina asked, raising a brow. "It's the history of this world. 3000 years ago, a planet died because of too much energy living inside it. But from that burst of energy a new world was created." My eyes widened slightly. "This world was formed, and a few of the races from that world managed to survive. They colonized here and repopulated while the new species that came with the world respected them like elders. They coexisted, except for the humans. For some reason, the other races didn't like humans very much, so the humans and the other races try to stay out of each other's ways. Other than the descendants, the only remaining items from that world were the tablets of history. The history of the Old Queen who led all the kins to fight for justice."
I scoffed. "Fight for justice?" I rolled my eyes slightly. "There was no justice in trying to fight idiots who knew no better. She should have surrendered to save her world."
Dina looked surprised. "Wait, how do you know this?" She asked. I didn't answer her and avoided her eyes. Dina sighed. "Who are you, really?"
I looked at her. "Do you know the crest of the Old Queen?" I asked. Dina looked confused but nodded nonetheless. I took out another gemstone and showed her the crest. "Then you'll recognize this."
Dina's eyes widened as she inspected it. "This is the first time I've seen this up close!" She exclaimed. "How did you get this?! It was known that there was only two in the whole world like this, and you had three?!"
Dina's jaws had dropped. I shrugged. "I create them," I replied. "From my own energy. They're made out of pure magic, used as communication devices for the commanders and every king or queen in each Kingdoms and Empires. I was the High Queen."
Dina was shocked to the core. "S-So, you're High Queen Ellaria of Fell?!" She asked.
I laughed dryly. "Not anymore," I replied. "All my people are gone."
Dina frowned and looked down at her lap. Suddenly she perked up and looked at me. "What if you give me those stones and I'll sell them in random locations around the world?!" Dina exclaimed. "Only those who knows of the existence of these stones may take interest and buy these, and maybe it'll end up in the hands of potential old friends of yours."
