Jenny screams out and it's no pose
'Cause when she dances, she goes and goes
Beer through the nose on an inside joke
And I'm so excited, I haven't spoken
And she's so pretty, and she's so sure
Maybe I'm more clever than a girl like her.
Summer's all in bloom
Summer is ending soon
Out of nowhere, Jenny shrieked. We all looked at her like she was more drunk than the rest of us, which she was. She jumped up and screamed again.
"This is my favorite song!" she exclaimed. I had forgotten that the radio was still playing, all our conversations had been too loud. The song was fast paced, it matched Jenny's spirit well.
She didn't waste a second. She quickly jumped up on the counter and started dancing. I couldn't help but laugh. Isabelle was quick to follow, and soon they were dancing together. I wanted to join them, but I was way too shy. Jared was the third to join them.
Before I knew what was happened, Jenny grabbed Jared and kissed him. I couldn't believe it. I wished I had as much confidence as her.
"Would you care to dance?" Danny asked me. I was so giddy from hearing his voice, I couldn't speak. I smiled super big and nodded my head yes. I was too drunk to even stand, so I didn't know how I was going to dance.
"Don't worry, I got you," he assured me, practically reading my mind. Or had I said it out loud? I was too drunk to remember. He gave me that big perfect smile and I just kept falling in love with him. We stayed up until morning just dancing and drinking. It was the best night ever.
