one day dj and mer was walking to the paw patrol 2 lookout since Ryder and his pups(minus mer and dj)are away to get a new member named ruby and tundra,they didn't know anything about it but they did see a pup on the lookout and saw who it was,it was their cousin who was a lack and white pup they go to meet her.
dj:hi um kiddo i'm dj the robopup and this is mer the merpup,its been quite awhile since we seen another German sheperd like our bro.
the black and white dog turn around to see who was behind her and saw dj and mer she notice that one of the them have teeth that sharp which she notice he was different from her and she squeal and hug both of them.

dj:its dj now cousin.
