I collect myself together and walk downstairs. Why is he flirting with me? No, I'm not the one supposed to be annoyed.
As I head downstairs, I take a seat next to Harry, the only available seat left. I roll my eyes at him when I sit down. He justs grins. I say hello to Professor Lupin and Sirius Black.
"Enjoying Harry's company?" Sirius asks. I glare at him.
"Why does it look like you have seen a ghost, Everly?" Hermione questions, amused.
"I'm fine. I just think out of this entire table. I had to land a seat next to this toerag." I scoff. Everyone laughs. Remus and Sirius eye each other specifically.
"Can't you see this is a 2-way hatred?" Harry asks.
"Are you sure your act upstairs was hatred?" I grin. Harry just starts chewing his food. Tonks starts changing to different animals with Hermione and Ginny. Everyone is so invested in other conversations it just leaves me and Harry in silence.
"You chew like a pig," I state.
"And you're like an annoying mosquito bite," Harry fires back.
"At least I can bite you," I say the first thing that comes out of my mouth realizing it's too late.
"You don't have to ask to bite me you know," Harry says, the upper corners of his mouth twitching into a grin.
"At least I don't have terrible flirting skills," I argue.
"Name one guy you have snogged then," Harry challenges.
"I can't tell you. It was a secret snog," I lie.
"So you have snogged someone!" Harry says a bit angry.
"Oh yeah. I'm surprised no one has snogged you yet," I say.
"You could be the first," Harry smirks.
"Your flirting skills are as dead as your parents!" I yelled, giggling. The entire table looks at me and stops talking.
"How do you know Harry is terrible at flirting. Don't you hate him?" George asks, smirking. I ignore him.
"Everly. You did not!" Ginny comments almost grinning.
"Everly! That was not nice. You should feel ashamed," Professor Lupin says.
"What! I'm being serious--," I retort.
"He's Sirius," Fred banters.
"I mean Black you really need to teach your godson how to flirt. He's terrible," I go on.
"I am not," Harry shouts.
"You are practically famous and you can't even get a girl," I reply.
"I can, but the one I want doesn't want me," Harry says.
"Well then she's making a good choice," I remark, amused. I'm so winning this.
"You should worry about your own dating life instead of mine. It looks pretty empty," Harry says.
"Why do you have to be such a rotten treacle tart?" I exclaimed.
"I hate you," Harry says.
"I hate you more," I contest, staring into his eyes.
