His parents adored me & begged me to spend the night every time I came over . I liked to call him my twin flame & he often called me his soulmate . Our whole town knew of us being together & begged us to come to our future wedding .
Some things do change with time..Don't they ?
When we both moved away for college everything changed. We quickly drifted apart & stopped talking. I guess we just wanted different things. When the news got back to our town they were devastated , but I wasn't .
I was having the time of my life , partying & hooking up with all these fine men. What I didn't know was that he was at college , sulking ?
My mom had called & asked if I would come see her . Of course I said yes and packed my bags as soon as possible. When I arrived at her house , my whole family was waiting for me . I hugged everyone with a huge smile on my face.
I sighed , seeing my ex next in line for a hug . My whole family smiled , patiently waiting for me to hug him.
I hugged him , but quickly let go.
As the party continued into the night , I could feel his eyes following me.
I walked outside for fresh air since the house was getting stuffy .
" Wanna go for a drive " ? My ex asked , holding up the keys to his car . I nodded hesitantly & walked to his car that wasn't too far away .
We drove for about 15 minutes , until we parked in a dimly lit parking lot. He stopped the car & leaned back in his seat , looking over at me.
