32: Friday

The flirting had gone on for the whole week, and not just by that one Alpha in his design class, but more like with one or two new Alphas every day.

But why now? Was he in preheat without realizing it again? It happened quite often to Omegas who had presented only a couple of years ago, but he knew it wasn't possible to be in preheat for a whole week...

Hongjoong had honestly been so confused, until he realized that Seonghwa's scent had strongly been on him for the whole week.

Were the Alphas in his school seriously this childish? When they notice a pretty Omega who is clearly single and unmated, they leave him alone, but when he smells like another Alpha, that's when they decide to make their move.

He had noticed at least some of them giving him glances before, but not actively flirting. The only good reason for this would be that none of them thought he was ready for dating, until he clearly had the scent of an Alpha on him.

But still, they were late, and probably wouldn't even be his type, even if he got to know them. He was happy with Seonghwa, and he hoped that this wouldn't go on for his whole time in University.

Hongjoong had been waiting for Seonghwa near the entrance, not for long, but the same Alpha from his design class had kept looking at him for a while, and it was making him feel more impatient than he usually would be.

He tried to focus on something else instead, like the outfit he was wearing.

He had dressed up in the new lace bralette, with a white dress shirt on top, but after noticing it being a bit too see-through, he had also put on a knit vest for one more layer. He paired the tops with the heels he had already been wearing since Wednesday, and finished the outfit with simple black jeans and a jacket.

When Seonghwa finally entered through the doors, Hongjoong immediately walked up to him. He had come up with a plan while waiting, which he considered over one more time, before pressing himself against the Alpha and leaned up to kiss him.

"What are you doing?" Seonghwa asked, a bit shy at the feeling of a couple of eyes on them.

"You see that Alpha behind me?" Hongjoong asked quietly.

"Which one?"

"Black hair, yellow eyes, stupid green shirt."

"Yeah?"

"He's been hitting on me for the whole week." Hongjoong complained.

And at that, Seonghwa's eyes immediately changed. He tightened his hands around the Omega's waist, kissing him back.

He didn't care about anyone seeing them anymore, if anything, he wanted them to see. Hongjoong was his, and none of them should even be trying to get him for themselves. He was taken, even without a mating bite or a ring.

While waiting for Seonghwa to finish with his singing lesson, Hongjoong took his laptop out and started working on some homework, for the lack of anything better to do while still sitting in the school building.

He had always done well in school, maybe he wasn't the best, but he knew he didn't have to be for the profession he had chosen. So he didn't really see a reason why delivering his test results to the government would be an issue.
