34: Banana yogurt

Yunho/Mingi smut at the end

(This chapter happens on the same day as the previous one)

Mingi had been the first one to wake up today, which was a little strange, as usually he and Yeosang were the ones who always stayed in bed for as long as they could. After looking down at his boyfriend, still sound asleep beside him, Mingi got out of bed and quickly put something on before walking out of their shared bedroom and into the kitchen and living room area, opening all of the blinds to let the sunlight in once there.

'Oh, looks like it might start raining soon.' Mingi thought after looking up at the sky that was currently covered in grey clouds.

Yunho and Mingi had adjusted their schedules so that they'd have their shifts and free times at around the same time, so that they could spend as much time together as possible. Which still wasn't that much, considering that they were both full-time high school students with weekend jobs.

So, on Saturdays both of them had an evening shift, and on Sundays both of them had a morning shift. That way they could start and end their weekends together, while still going to work.

Since Mingi was the only one awake for now, he started getting ready for the day in peace. He brushed his teeth, washed his face, and then went to make himself and the others some breakfast.

The pack had gotten into the habit that whoever wakes up first is on duty for cooking enough rice for the day and making a cup of coffee for everyone. Thankfully they had bought the simplest of rice cookers and coffee machines they could find.

So Mingi, who was in a cozy mood today, wearing the ripped jean skirt with his favorite slightly oversized sweater, started with measuring and washing the rice. He then turned the rice cooker on once he was done, all the while following the instructions written on a piece of paper that was taped onto the side of the machine, just in case someone forgets how much rice and water they need, or how to use the two buttons of their rice cooker.

Then he moved onto making the coffee, also following the instructions written on another piece of paper, just in case, so that someone doesn't do the steps in the wrong order again.

After the coffee machine was done, Mingi poured himself a cup and walked over to the couch to sit down while waiting for the rice to get cooked. Not long after that, he could hear someone's footsteps approaching from the hallway.

"Good morning hyung..." San mumbled as he emerged into the living room.

"Good morning." Mingi's deep but still sweet morning voice answered.

"Oh, Mingi? Are you the only one awake?" San asked after finally focusing his gaze onto the other properly.

He was too used to waking up to either or both of the two oldest ones, so he had not expected to see only their youngest one awake by himself.

"Yeah."

"You made coffee already?" San asked after his eyes landed on the cup in Mingi's hand.

"Yes, are you doubting my abilities to follow instructions?"

"No, I was just surprised..."

'Nothing smells burned.' San thought and sighed in relief after subtly smelling the air.

He went to get his own cup of coffee, also checking the kitchen just to make sure everything was okay there, before he returned and sat down next to Mingi.
