Amelia's POV

I put my robe on and went out of the door, and I couldn't believe my eyes.

How stupid is this kid? She screamed because her chocolate bar fell on the stupid sidewalk.

"Sometimes, I hate kids." I whispered, rolling my eyes.

Sierra came out of the abandoned building, "Sis?"

"Go to sleep, Sierra. You have school tomorrow. You need to get a lot of sleep." I explained.

"Okay, but, can you sleep with me? I had a bad dream."

I sighed and smiled, "Sure."

We walked to my room, "Come."

She layed down with me and I pulled the covers over her because she was shivering.

We both fell asleep...

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I groaned and turned the alarm off my cheap phone. Sierra was already up, grabbing a towel and some clothes.

I decided to grab my clothes so I went to my closet and I picked some ripped jeans, a Nirvana tee, and some flats I got yesterday at the thriftstore. That place has like really cheap shit.

I decided not to shower because I showered yesterday at night, so, I put my clothes on and banged on Sierra's bathroom.

"It's time!"

I heared her slightly groan and turn off the shower water.

I giggled a little and went back to getting ready. I grabbed the $1 perfume and put a few sprites on myself. I was satisfied and I put my hair in a sidebraid.

Sierra came in the room quickly and started to throw on her clothes. She had tight jeans, an R5 tee (one of her favorite bands), and some Vans I got her for her birthday. I worked hard to get her those Vans and she was really happy and grateful of what she got.

I threw in my notebooks, pencils, and binders inside my backpack. I secretly put in a chocolate bar.

"YOU HAVE CHOCOLATE???" Sierra asked.

I rolled my eyes playfully, "No, you're not having it."

"Pwease?" she asked, pouting.

"Erg....fine."

"Yay!" she exclaimed, "CHOCOLATE!!!!"

"Wow..." I whispered.

I gave her the bar and she devoured it with such love.

"Damn Sierra..." I laughed.

"It's my baby." she whispered.

"YOU'RE EATING YOUR BABYYYYY!!!" I screamed, laughing.

I put my literature books in my backpack. I secretly did it because supposedly I'm a 'nerd'. It's not the favorite word I like to be labeled with, but, I just have a passion for school. School will always be my main priority.

"We can eat breakfast outside because of the paycheck." I smiled.

"Yay! Food!"

I made Sierra's snack for her morning break. Seventh grade is the last grade she can have snack, by the way.

We walked out of our house. The house was in the middle of nowhere so that the police couldn't find us. It's illegal in Nevada to live in an abandoned house.
