Chapter 11

Bryce POV:

I couldn't believe Mia was in Addison's house right now. I grabbed Addison's hand and led her to her bedroom.

B: She can't stay here.

A: Bryce, I can't just kick her out. I invited your family here, and Caleb is dating your ex. We are just gonna have to roll with what life has thrown at us

B: Baby, I don't trust her

A: Then don't, babe, but don't be an asshole either. Your family is gonna be here for a week so let's enjoy it. 

I kissed Addison and grabbed her hand. We then walked downstairs hand in hand. We all began to sit around the table and eat. Addison sat to my left, and my mom was on the right. Caleb sat next to my mom while Mia sat next to Addison. I didn't understand why Mia was here, but I would definitely be figuring it out.

Ca: So Bryce, how's life?

B: Great, actually. I've quit being Addison's assistant, so I've been focusing on my youtube more, and it seems like my fans love it. I am working on getting my podcast going, and I am beginning to take my social media life more seriously. 

Ca: So you don't regret not going to college

B: If I never move to Los Angelos after I graduate High School, I would have never met the sway boys, and I would not have met the love of my life. 

I watched Mia roll her eyes as I called Addison the love of my life.

A: So Mia, how did you and Caleb get together?

M: So funny story actually Bryce and I dated Junior year and up until he was about 20. But, long-distance got hard.

B: And you were crazy

M: Anyway, Caleb would always hang out with us as all of us grew up together. Caleb was always my best friend, so after Bryce broke up with me, I took it pretty hard. Caleb and I started hanging every waking moment, and we thought that we should allow ourselves to try it out.

A: Wow, well, Congratulations. So, Caleb, I heard you play soccer

Ca: Ya, our mom actually signed Bryce and me up for soccer as soon as we could walk. Bryce was way better than me. He even got a scholarship for a college to play. But, everyone knew Bryce was meant for more. So now I play soccer at the University of Maryland. I owe it to Bryce for constantly supporting me financially, physically, and emotionally. I miss him so much, but I know he was meant for this life.

A: Maybe Bryce and I could attend one of your games if that's okay.

Ca: I'd love that. Actually, I have a question for you. How did you end up with my idiot of a big brother?

A: Bryce has been my assistant for about two years. So since he was 20, in the beginning, I questioned firing him many times as he was always late and never listened to me.  Then we began to spend countless hours together, from shootings to late nights to early mornings. Bryce would be the only person to calm me down when I was stressed, and he would be there for me like no other person. I like to think that after the first year, Bryce and I fell in love with each other. When I was drunk, I announced I like him, but we had many troubles. But, lately, we are finding our groove.

L: Addison, I have met many of Bryce's girlfriends, and I have not like none of them. Not even Mia, I know my son, and I know his potential. None of his girlfriends has pushed him to be the best he can possibly be, but you do. I hope you stay around for a long time. 

I watched my mom get up and hug Addison. After dinner, Addison and my mom began to bake cookies with Mia. My mom never liked Mia, so I was surprised she didn't say anything to Caleb about dating her. I grabbed two beers from the fridge and led Caleb outside. As soon as we got outside I heard him gasp.
