Chapter 9: Dazai's been consorting with the enemy

3rd POV
After Kunikida caught soukoku kissing in the hall he had dragged them into a conference room, and he left them in there so he could drag the rest of the agency into said room. Now being alone for a little got the engaged couple to talking. Dazai told Chuuya what they could remember. Then they got to the topic of what would happen in the final fight in the three way war. Dazai wants to fight and help because their ability would be a huge asset for everyone. Chuuya had to express his worry for them.

"No I'm not letting you fight the guild! You're pregnant!!" Chuuya said exasperated

"So what I was in the port Mafia and carried out missions when I was pregnant with Akimura." Dazai retorted back

"Which is why I'm not letting you risk it with this one. Aki needs you if you die you are also killing the baby. You need to stay here." Chuuya said in a 'that's final' tone.

Just then the rest of the agency walked into the conference room. Luckily they did not hear the argument that just took place.

"Uh, Kunikida, why are we in a conference room?" Atsushi asked, looking like a shy kitten.

"Because, Dazai apparently forgot to inform us that they were consorting with the enemy." Kunikida told everyone.

Ranpo tilted his head, "What do you mean 'consorting with the enemy?' They're just pregnant."

Atsushi looked confused. "WHAT!?"

With that little outburst most of the agency turned to stare at Chuuya.

Chuuya could feel everyone's eyes on him. "What?" He said ever-so nonchalantly turning away from Dazai

"First off. I'm not going to ask how that's possible. Secondly, a- are you the father?" Junichiro was trying to not be awkward, though considering his sister was caressing his face, it was very hard.

"Yes I'm the father. Who else would put up with them. I really must be going now. Do not and I repeat do not let them fight, or else you'll feel what it's like to get crushed by gravity." Chuuya responded before leaving.

With that everyone had many questions to ask Dazai, but they got a phone call. It was from Akimura.

"Hi sweetheart... yes I'm fine... I'm not injured... have fun with Auntie Kouyou... your father has already talked to me... tell your aunt not to let your grandfather know you are with her... I'm at work right now... yes I'll be home in time to tuck you in... good luck on the test... by 'Mura. Hi sorry about that I had to let someone know I was ok. Anyways, let's not focus on me and Chuuya. Let's go and defeat the guild. Half of the agency needs to be on the ground, and I will be up on the ship. I was still carrying out mission at this point in my last pregnancy and I plan to work as long as possible." They said in a that's final kinda way.

With that they took Atsushi to mini-plane to get them on the Moby Dick. Once on the ship they made their way to find to gifted with the ability for the ship. Unfortunately some of the guild members were still on the ship, and all of them had weapons. Atsushi had told Dazai to run, but they're stubborn and want to fight.

"How'd you escape from the cell? It was reinforced to keep Lovecraft in it." One of the guild members asked

"Lock picking skills come in han—-" before Dazai could finish their sentence a branch knocked into him with more force than a car crash.

While they were down trying not to choke on blood they told Atsushi to run and stop the ship from sinking into Yokohama. Then they got their phone out and typed in a code that would send their location to Chuuya. After holding off the guild for a few minutes they could hear their fiancé screaming like he does when he's getting ready to punch/fight someone.

For once they were happy to hear the scream because this time Chuuya wasn't using Corruption. After dealing with whatever guild members there were to deal with Chuuya came over to his fiancé with a concerned looked on his face.

"I thought I told you to stay out of the fight."

"And I thought you knew I want to fight and protect this city till I can't."

They stayed there for a while. In that time Dazai contacted the agency about Kyouka's entrance exam. Then they left the ship luckily chuuya borrowed a helicopter from Mori because he told Mori that he was helping Dazai. Of course Mori would help.

"Come on Chuuya let's go. I think I need a break, and plus, I bet 'Mura would like to have someone at home all the time." Dazai said as they made their way to the helicopter.

"Alright then Mackerel let's go hom—" just then when Chuuya was checking his phone a rat logo appeared, "Looks who's finally showing his face in Yokohama."

He showed Dazai his phone.

"Looks like we're going to have a rat problem soon. Let's hope both organizations are up to the task."

With that Soukoku left the ship leaving the rest of the problems to Shin Soukoku.
