I woke up to my alarm clock going off. Ugh! Its Wednesday and I don't wanna go to school. It's 5:45am so I gotta bust a move.
I got up and walked to the bathroom just to see my brother, Terrell brushing his teeth.
Terrell: hey babygirl
He kissed my forehead after putting his tooth brush down. I got mine and stood beside him.
Me: Bubba I don't wanna go.
Terrell: Leah, don't start you have to. Now smile and get dress.
He walked out. I finished my morning duties and walked in my room. I haven't been the same since that night and Terrell sees it the most.
I picked out some black skinny jeans and a baby blue shirt and got dress. I did my hair, letting it be down and wavy. I finished getting ready and walked to the kitchen to see my mama. This beautiful women.
Me:hi mom
Mom:hey baby. You look cute
I didn't really didn't dress up a lot anymore.
Me:thanks. I'm coming back. Slowly
Mom: you need to.
Terrell walked in with his bag.
Terrell: Leah, we going to movies tonight and your coming

He looked at our mom and she nodded.
I used to go everywhere with Terrell. He's only two years older so we are super close and our friends are the same. I would go everywhere with him but ever since that night, I am so shut out.

We kissed mom goodbye and walked to his car. I stayed looking out the window.
Terrell: we do miss you sis
I jumped a little
Me: I miss y'all to. Its just hard
Terrell: Lee, we got you you know that.
I nodded. We made it to school and walked to our table with our friends. I sat by Trent
Trent: Hey Leah
He smiled as well did I

Bennett: you coming with us tonight?

Me: I don't know y'all
Trent: please Lee. It sucks without you.
I sighed. I want my old life back but every time I go somewhere, I'm scared to see him.

Everyone smiled and Trent hugged me
Trent:don't worry it gonna be great
