chapter 3

Trent's pov:

It was 3:30 and school was finally out. I was in the backseat of Terrell's car with Leah , Amy took the front seat.

Terrell: y'all ready for tonight?

Me: yeah man

Leah:yes I need a fun night

I smiled. Her soft voice is my weakness. Yes, I like Leah no, wait,  I love Leah, yeah that's better.

Me: it will be great I promise. I'll buy your popcorn.

She smiled that beautiful winning smile and I giggled, yes I'm a dude that giggles. Don't judge me!

Leah: aww Trent

This girl fucking loves popcorn! Its crazy like she has bit my hand because I took her popcorn bowl before.

Lesson: never take food from a girl mixed with  black and Italian!

Me: all you gotta do is sit with me

Leah: deal.

Amy:we all know she don't mind

Amy looked back at Leah and winked

Leah: shut up Amy

I could see Leah blushing. Oh my god she likes me I smiled to myself

Leah's POV:

We got home and I went inside.

I'm ready for tonight but scared. I haven't went out for fun in almost three years!

Me:Amy come with me, I gotta change

Amy:girl me to

We got up and the boys looked at us like we were crazy

Terrell:why? Y'all straight

Trent: yeah Leah you look fine

I smiled then laughed at Terrell's face.

Terrell: the fuck Trent ?

Amy: who knows but Lee let's go

She grabbed me and we ran to my room to find clothes. Amy and I are the same size but she a baby A cup and I am a perfect C cup but my shirts still fit her.

I picked out a nice brown fancy shirt with some black skinny jeans and black high heels with a heart necklace.

Amy picked out a white shirt and some black pants with her black shoes.

Me:sexyy

Amy:boo look at you hot damn

I laughed I wanted to look good.  I straighten my hair then added curler rolls and while waiting on my hair I played with Amy's hair

Me: what you want

Amy:same as you

I nodded. I always do her hair when her and Terrell go out. She says I have a gift. I plugged up the curl iron and brushed her hair.

Amy:you know Trent likes you

Me:whatever

Amy:he does! And you like him girl what holding you back.

I just looked at her though the mirror and started curling her hair.

Amy:Leah, I know your scared but you can't let that bitch ass run your life

Me:I'm not ready Amy

Amy: why? Trent loves you so why you running?

Me:I can't let him in,  he just gonna hurt me

Amy looked at me as I did her last curl, I felt tears coming but I refuse to cry. I stood by Amy, taking the rolls out my hair not saying a word.

Nobody knows how bad I want Trent and how much I wanna let him in but I can't. I know something bad would happen, it always does

Amy:Leah, you OK?

Leah: I love him Ams, I really do but I can't put my heart at risk again. Between my father, that monster and Leo, my heart is broken. I can't I can't no matter bad I want to.

A tear fall when I said father, he left us when I was 6, Terrell was 8 and our sister Bree was 10. That's part of why I'm so fucked up. He would come home drunk and beat us, he even stabbed Terrell and put a gun to my mama's head.

I felt arms around me as I cried my heart out. Amy cupped my face.

Amy: babygirl, look at me, you are so strong stop holding it in your heart, let it out

And that's what I did. She pulled me to my bed and rocked me. Thank god I didn't do my make up.

Later 5:24pm

Final fixed myself, did mine and Amy's makeup and put a smile on.

May be fake but oh well.

I walked to the living room to see my mama, Trent and Terrell . Trent looked me up and down.

Trent: whoa, Leah you look amazing

I blushed

Me: thanks

Terrell: baby you look fine

Amy:thanks

Mama: you both look beautiful

Leah & amy:thanks mama

Terrell grabbed Amy's hand

Terrell: let's roll

Mama: be good and I want someone around my babygirl at all times, you hear me

Amy,Trent and Terrell: yes mama

Mama hugged me tight

Mama: you look beautiful baby, be careful

Me: I will don't worry

I kissed her cheek, hoping nothing goes wrong tonight
