as she stepped out of the living room to use the bathroom, she was basically yanked into another room.

Obviously startled, she flinched at the contact but saw jaehyun towering above her, chewing on his lip.

jiyoung gulped and tried to leave the room but his foot shut the door too quickly.

"jaehy- "
"listen, we don't have to talk about anything right now. but i just don't want you to ignore me, it hurts. things don't have to be weird, ji. let's not make them. ok ?"
she nodded frantically.
she gave her a tight lipped smile and opened the door for her to exit.

'he's right. i'm being hypocritical..' she thought as she sunk back onto the couch, now half empty.

taeyong and her ended up going home around 11:00, jiyoungs mind still clouded with thoughts.

A starving jiyoung wandered down the instant food aisle due to taeyong forgetting to buy this week's groceries. she sighed and scanned the shelves.

as she spotted what she needed, a shorter petite blonde girl blocked her vision.

"hey.." the girl said.

'she looks familiar..'

"hey..." she returned, equally as awkward.

'where the hell do i know her from...'

"oh! i'm Eunji, i don't know if you remember me.." the girl shyly explained

"oh..", 'the girl that jaehyun had a thing with...' , "yeah, i remember you." jiyoung nervously laughed.

"how have you been?"

" um good, you?"

"i'm good!"
'am i the only one feeling awkward in this convo...'

".. listen um so i now realize how i acted towards you and i want to apologize. i just never got a chance to see you and actually do it. i'm not going to make excuses for myself or anything. i shouldn't of treated you or jaehyun that way and i'm really sorry."

jiyoung scanned the girls face, which looked quite sincere. her face softened.

"don't even worry about it, it's all in the past" jiyoumg offered a smile.

she herself wasn't proud of some of her past actions so she knew she couldn't hold anything against the other girl. it wouldn't be fair.

"you're so nice, it makes me feel even worse about it to be honest", she says hiding her face in her hands.

" really, i don't know what came over me. jealousy, i think.

he just... i knew he didn't like me like that, the way he liked you. and it drove me crazy." she shook her head in disbelief at her own actions.

"what do you mean" jiyoung laughed, mostly at her rambling. the conversation felt more comfortable now. all shyness completely gone, now talking like they were old friends reconnecting.
