Me, my dad and Harry all walked out of the whomping willow with Hermione and Ron following behind closely.

Me, Harry and Hermione all put Ron down on a rock so he could rest his leg. Out of the corner of my eye I saw my dad walk over too look at the castle.

"You go y/n, he's your dad, I'll join you in a second." Harry said to me and I smiled and nodded.

"Hey dad." I said walking over to him.

"Thankyou." He said to me with a smile on his face.

"What for?" I said slightly chuckling.

"For not giving up on me and for still calling me dad after all these years." He said and I noticed a few tears in his eyes.

"You will always be my dad, but I am not gonna lie there was a few times I did believe what people were saying but that's only because I only found out you were my dad like 5 or so months ago?" I said too him and he just chuckled at me.

"Well yes that is understandable, but I'm glad you finally know the truth. Oh and after all this is sorted out and I'm a free man I was wondering if you wanted to be a family again..?" He asked me slightly hesitantly.

"Of course! I would really love that, oh but dad would Harry also be able to live with us, I don't want him to go back to those horrid Dursley's." I said.

"Yes of course, I was planning on asking him too anyways." He said smiling at me.

"I'm so glad I found out the truth dad." I said to my father who was looking at me with all the care in the world. I couldn't believe people would think this man would commit such crimes.

"I'm glad you did too sweetheart." He said and I simply just hugged him.

"I missed you so much you know." He muttered into my hair.

"Well I didn't even know I had a dad despite you being my dad but I guess I did really miss you too." I said and he chuckled.

"I'm gonna go over there, I'll get Harry for you." I said to my father and he nodded.

I made my way over to Harry, Hermione and Ron and his leg still looked extremely sore.

Lupin had Pettigrew in his grasp and I was never going to let him get away.

"Go speak to him Harry, I'll be over here." I said and motioned over to my Dad.

(Harry's POV)

"Thanks Y/n." I said to the h/c haired girl and made my way over to Sirius.

"It's beautiful isn't it. I'll never forget the first time I walked through those doors, it will be nice too do it again as a free man." Sirius said to me, looking at the castle.

"That was a noble thing you did back there, he doesn't deserve it." Sirius said.

"Well I just didn't think my dad would want his two best friends to become killers." I said too Sirius who was still admiring the castle.
