(thankyou everyone for 500 readsss!! I never thought I would get this many people reading my story tysmm, also this chapter is way different from what usually happens because Sirius is free.)

I woke up in a bed different to my usual one. I groaned as I sat up and looked at my surroundings. I soon realised where I was, the hospital wing.

Once I looked around and saw Harry in the bed next to me, the previous days events came flooding back.

"Mione!" I whisper shouted, being careful not to wake Harry up.

"Y/n! Are you okay?" Mione asked me.

"Yes, yes I'm fine. Where's my Dad?" I asked frantically.

"He's fine, apparently Dumbledore knew all this time that Sirius was innocent. When I asked him about it all he said was, 'the truth always reveals itself' or something like that." She said too me.

"Are you kidding?!" I asked getting angry.

"Nope, but he's free now, well will be soon. There's a trial being held in the great hall in a few hours." My brunette haired friend told me.

"And Sirius will most likely win, with Dumbledore and Snape on his side."

"Snape?" I asked.

"Yeah, turns out what you said too him really helped." She said too me and I smiled knowing that soon my dad will be free once and for all.

"Oh and it turns out Dumbledore requested another trial for Buckbeak and he will get a fair trial this time. That's being held at the Ministry next Thursday."

"That's great." I said smiling too myself, I really couldn't be happier right now.

Our conversation was soon interrupted by Harry bolting up in his sleep.

"S-Sirius, is he okay." He asked, his voice laced with worry.

"Harry, calm down, it's all okay. Sirius is having a fair trial in a few ours and Dumbledore and Snape are both on his side." I said sitting on the bed next too the raven haired boy.

"O-oh good." He said steadying his breathing.

"Wait Snape?!" He asked.

"Yeah, I had the same reaction." I said chuckling.

. . . Time skip . . .

(Still your POV)

It was now time for Sirius' trial and I was wearing a black formal dress which reached just above my knee. It fit really well with the occasion.

Despite knowing that Sirius would be fine, i couldn't help but feel immense amount of worry for my Dad.

He was innocent but what if the Minister decides to be a bitch and doesn't listen.

"Calm down Y/n he will be fine." Ron said too me as we took our seats in the great hall.

The trial started and it was going good so far. Snape actually stood up for my Dad but stated he was only doing it for Lily. No surprises there. My Dad had told me as we were walking out of the Whomping willow, how much Snape loved lily.

He said it was always creepy and again I couldn't help but not be surprised.

Peter and Sirius had too both use Veritaserum too know the full truth. That idea was suggested by Dumbledore and considering that the Minister was terrified of Dumbledore he obeyed.

Then the final verdict was given.

Sirius was free.

But Peter didn't get given too the dementors like I hoped, he was given a life sentence in Azkaban. Which isn't too bad but still not what me or my dad hoped for.

"I'm so glad he's free." I said too Harry, Mione and Ron.

"Me too." Harry said and took my hand as we watched the whole of the great hall empty of Ministry workers.

"Hello everyone." A voice I know recognised instantly said from behind us.

"Dad!!" I said hugging him immediately.

"Hello too you too my beautiful daughter." He said chuckling.

"I'm so glad your free." I said too him, burying my head in his neck.

"Me too sweetie, me too."

The rest of the day was full of apologies too Sirius but he didn't accept any of them as no one could get back those twelve years he had taken away from him.

It had finally gotten dark and Me, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Lupin and My dad were all sat in the Great hall eating.

"Oh god I have missed this food." My dad said stuffing his face with mashed potatoes.

"Easy there Sirius, no ones going to take it away from you." Remus said chuckling at my Dad.

"Where will you go now Sirius?" 'Mione asked.

"I was thinking somewhere in the country side eventually, with me, y/n and Harry all living together." He said smiling.

"But for now I will have to go back too my family home, it is mine after all, for as much as I don't want to go back there it's the only place I can afford." He said.

"We promise to visit in the holidays!" Harry said.

"Yeah you better." He said making all of us laugh.

"I'll miss you Dad."

"I'll miss you too pumpkin." He said too me.

"Pumpkin?" Ron asked.

"When Y/n was younger Lily and Rose, Y/n's mother, left Y/n and Harry for me and James too look after and it just so happened to be Halloween. So me and James decided to dress you two up, Harry you were a spider and Y/n you where a pumpkin and too say you loved the costume was an understatement." He said laughing.

"Do you miss them?" Harry asked.

"Who?" Sirius replied.

"My mum and dad and Y/n's mum."

"Oh yes, all the time." My dad replied with a tear in is eye.

"They were the best, really." Lupin said too us all.

After hours of chatting, My dad eventually had too leave as we had to go too bed.

"I'll see you soon pumpkin." My Dad said, hugging me.

"I love you dad."

"I love you too kiddo."

(Sorry about this being so short. It just made me happy that Sirius is free. He's one of my fave characters and he deserved wayyy better.)
