"What kind of animal is this?" Luka asked as he pointed to a picture of a snake. Adrien is on his lap, as he sits on a chair inside the child's house. Or mansion, rather.
"Snake!" Adrien answered cheerfully.
Luka smiled as he moves his fingers to a picture of a black cat. "Okay, then what is this?"
"Cat!" The child answered as he jumps on Luka's lap, making the older boy chuckle. He put his right arm on the boy's waist and pulls him closer to his body, making the little kid blush.
"Hey kitty, hungry?" Luka asked the child, who nodded to him in reply.
"I want cookies.." Adrien murmured, pouting.
Luka laughed. "Okay, okay. I'll get you some. Stay right here okay?" He stands up from his seat, then makes his way to the kitchen to grab some cookies. Not until he heard screams from afar, making him stop.
"What the.." He said to himself, as he open one of windows to check out what's happening outside.
"I'm Timetagger and I shall take all of you back to the past, and no one can stop me!" A villain said as he shoots another laser at someone, making the man disappear and a poster which has Jagged Stone's pictures on it changed into XY.
Luka gasped and heads out of the kitchen to the living room Adrien is in.
"Where are my cookies—" Luka carries the boy before he can even finish. He brings Adrien to his bedroom and settles him down on his bed.
"What is—"
"Stay there and don't ever get out of the house, okay?"
"..akuma?" Adrien squeaked innocently, tilting his head in the slightest way possible.
"Yes. I'll be right back." Luka runs to the door, but someone clings on his legs, stopping him.
"No, don't go!" Adrien begged, hugging his leg.
"B–but—"
"Papa's not home, I'm all alone here! Don't go, Luka!" The boy start to cry, making the blue boy panic.
"H–hey! Calm down." He kneels down to him and wipes the boy's tears away. For some reason, this reminds him at the first time they met.
"What if..what if akuma sees me? What would I do?" The boy sniffles.
"Shh..of course not." Luka soothed the child.
"But what if—!" He planted a quick kiss at Adrien's forehead, stopping him. The boy pursed his lips together, his cheeks getting red.
"If that akuma finds you, I'll be there to save you." Luka said to the child.
"But why do you have to go?" Adrien continued on. "Just stay with me." He hugs the blue boy tightly, still crying like a child.
"Don't leave me, please.." Luka widened his eyes, as his heart skipped a beat.
Wait, what?
He shakes his head, brushing the feeling off his body.
"I'm sorry, but I just had to." Luka answered, then gently pushes Adrien away from him.
"You'll come back, right? You're not gonna leave me, are you?" Luka's heart slightly aches, as he pats Adrien's hair gently before smiling.
"I will, Adrien. I will." He said before running out of the room, and out of the house. He went to an alleyway and hid then he slightly opens his jacket, making a kwami fly out.
