hey guys!!! I wanted to get started on my new book, and I came up with the title because I was like, "Oh, I want to get started right away, just like Hamilton and Eliza's new lives are getting started right away," and then I saw this picture and it was just fate.
Anywho, I really love you guys and you've helped me through some of the worst writer's block I've ever had, haha!

Eliza's POV
..
I open my eyes, only to see Alexander's staring back at me. Then I remember. WE'RE GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!!!!!
He wanted to marry me right after I graduated college, so I was in college for 6 years. I wanted to have a pretty good degree, which I got my bachelor's degree in teaching. I've always loved kids, and I actually want to teach kids with autism, because I think that'd be amazing, to help all of them out.
But as soon as I got my bachelor's, Alexander started planning.
And planning...
and planning....
and finally, we set a date: December 14.
Which is today.
I run out of the room before Hamilton wakes up. Lots of people say that it's only bad luck if the fiance sees you in your wedding dress before the wedding, but I'm not taking any risks.
Peggy is sleeping in the room next door. We got a really nice hotel room for ourselves and my sisters.
I hear the door creak open to mine and Alexander's room. Then I hear his voice, and I scramble into a nearby closet and shut the door. Then I realize that he walked into Peggy's room, and I hold my breath because he walks right by me!
I hear Peggy go, "Yo Alex, catch this," and then I hear him go, "You know I hate bananas." I muster up the strength to not laugh at this conversation.
Then I hear him go, "Y'know, Peggs, you're really lucky to have a sister like that. I honestly have no idea how she was able to forgive me after the heartless shit I pulled. If I were her, I'd honestly give two fucks about me and be on my way."
Peggy laughs. "Yeah, she's honestly amazing. But I also don't know where she'd be without you. Even Ange and John aren't as in love with you, and if you heard what dirty stuff goes on in their room when I'm over there..." she shudders. "Which reminds me, you haven't slept with Liz yet, right?"
I can almost hear Alexander roll his eyes. "NO we haven't, but I don't care. She has every right to make me wait."
"Okay, but she does want kids, so don't you make her wait."
Then I feel some awkward tension between them, and then I hear the door open and shut, and I take that as my cue to walk out of the closet.
But oh wait...
Nobody walked OUT.
It was Ange who walked IN.
..
I hear Peggy scream, and then see Alexander's eyes widen. "Oh shit, Eliza, I had no idea you were in there!!!"
I just smile at him and pull him into a kiss. "I love you, Alexander. I'm really glad that I get to spend the rest of my life with you."
He raises an eyebrow. "Are you drunk?"
"At 6:30 in the morning? I've never even drunk alcohol before, dummy!"
At that he smiles, and hugs me tightly. "In that case, I'm happy to spend my life with you as well, my love."
We share another smile, and then Angelica claps her hands loudly. "Okay, chop chop! There are plans to be made, cakes to be baked, and a wedding to be hosted!"
