The doorbell rang repeatedly. [Y/N] groaned in annoyance, the only thought that warmed her heart was that it was not Dabi. Dabi would never ring the bell. She put on a robe and made her way to the door. A strange sensation caressed her body before she even reached the destination. Something deep inside her begged to submit, making her knees weak. [Y/N] stopped in her tracks. The blockers killed all sense of smell, but her body was responding on a primal level. [Y/N]'s pulse sped up. She knew exactly who was behind that door.
"[Y/N], it's Todoroki Shoto," his deep voice echoed in her ears, sending weird impulses to her brain. [Y/N] took a step back, thinking she could walk away quietly and pretend that she is not home. "I know you are at home. Please open the door. We need to talk."
Her hands clenched into fists.
"[Y/B/N][Y/B/L] was your brother, right?" he said quietly. [Y/N]'s body stiffened. "He died two years ago in an accidental fire during the rescue mission at The Mall of Musutafu." A heavy feeling settled in her stomach. "[Y/N], open the door." he spoke gently yet the firmness in his voice told her that he would not leave her alone easily. Her fingertips trembled from the mix of emotions. [Y/N] pressed her head to the door hesitating. "I am so sorry about what happened to your brother, but it was an accident."
That hit the nerve. The door swung open and a fuming [Y/N] appeared in the doorway. Unintentionally, Shoto took a deep breath, but sensed nothing. A hint of panic rose in his chest. [Y/N] glared at him coldly with a hint of loathing in her eyes. Her reddened face and flattened lips told a story, Shoto did not want to hear.
"You know nothing." She finally hissed through her gritted teeth. "You weren't there." Her pulse and heartbeat entered into a race. She turned around on her heels and walked into the flat leaving the door open. Without hesitation he stepped in. A strong scent of an alpha hit his nostrils, making him grind his teeth in anger. Heat flushed through his body as he walked into the living room, where the scent accumulated the most. Shoto took a deep breath trying to calm down. His mind battled the primal instincts of his body, but it was harder than usual. His whole being rejected the voice of reason, demanding to leave his own scent everywhere, to mark his territory and his...beta. Shoto hated these new feelings, he despised them, but one cannot resist what is meant by nature.
The living room was small. He glanced at the numerous papers scattered on the coffee table together with opened packages of medicine. Maybe [Y/N] was sick after all and she wasn't just trying to avoid him. Suddenly his gaze caught a glimpse of a blue paper with large bold print stating "REDIAGNOSED. RESULT – OMEGA." Before he could stop himself, he grabbed the paper and started reading, feeling a mixture or anger and relief wash over him.
"What the hell are you doing?" she snapped snatching the paper out of his hand.
"You are an omega." He stated blankly.
[Y/N] did not reply, she grabbed one of the medicine packages and squeezed out two large pills. She brought them to her mouth, but his strong hand grabbed her wrist. "What are these?"
"Don't touch me!" she screamed. "Don't you dare ever touch me again!" her loud panicked scream made him loosen his grip. [Y/N] quickly swallowed the medicine and glared at Shoto.
"[Y/N]," he said somewhat disorientated. Her reaction alarmed him. He took a step closer, but [Y/N] stuck her hand out ordering him to stop. His gaze fell on the package of the medicine.
"Blockers?!" his raised voice made her shudder. Suddenly she felt small. He hovered over the girl surpassing her aura with his. The heavy atmosphere weighted her down, making her want to drop to her knees and submit yet again. "[Y/N], why?" he ran his hand through his hair. "Can't you sense that we..."
