"Avery?" I said absolutely astonished.
"Congrats your figured it out!" She said and rolled her eyes.
"Wait you're A?" I asked trying to put the pieces together.
"I'm surprised it took you this long to figure it out, you were so smart what happened? Is all the fame getting to your head?" She said standing up and walking over to us.
"What do you want?" Hayes snapped.
"She knows exactly what I want" Avery said and started playing with my hair. I slapped her hand away and she gave me a look.
"I guess I'll just have to say it. Jess and I have always been basically the same person" I took a deep breath knowing where this was going.
"Same interests, same hobbies, same favorite color even, oh and same taste in boys" She said smiling at Hayes who moved closer to me.
"Why are you doing this? It's over you won" I spat.
"Easy there tiger I'm not done just yet, Chris why don't you explain the rest" She said and sat down on my bed.
"You lied to me this whole time" I said pushing my self in front of Hayes.
"I did and I'm sorry, listen Avery I'm done working for your stupid little revenge plan the only reason I agreed to do this was because I thought I would get Jess back but I can see that she's happy and I'm not going to ruin that" Avery's facial expression went from confident to shocked.
"What did I ever do to you that you would need revenge on me Ave we were best friends!" I said throwing my hands up in the air.
"You weren't there for me when I needed you! And you betrayed me!" Avery yelled standing up.
"Can you guys give us a few minutes alone?" I asked turning and facing the guys. They hesitantly nodded. Everyone but Hayes left.
"Hayes go I'll be fine" I said and gave him a small smile. He look at Avery then back at me and then left.
"What happened? What did I do please just tell me" I said sitting down on the chair.
"You knew I like Taylor and then you went and freaking had sex with him!" She yelled.
"It was a dare that went to far he was drunk and I was stupid it meant nothing to either of us" I said trying to reason with her.
"I know it just made me so mad" She said softly.
"How did you get out of the river?" I asked.
"I was pulled out, by Jordan I had someone call your house saying the cops found my body because I waned revenge so bad and Jordan was willing to help and so was Chris, it was a perfect plan I had everything set up I had my own headstone made I told my parents to ignore and of your calls or visits, but I didn't feel satisfied with just Chris cheating on you so when I found out you were with Hayes I wanted more and I couldn't stop myself" She said. It took sometime to digest all this.
"What did you have on Alison that she was so afraid of you?" I asked.
"You're going to have to ask her that yourself but once she found out it was me and we just dropped it, like nothing ever happened" This was absolute insanity.
"I'm sorry" She said. Avery never apologized, to anyone. This is absolute insanity.
"I need a few minutes to think this through okay?" I said and she nodded. I walked out of my bedroom and upstairs. Everyone jumped up when they saw me but I kept walking. I went to the sliding door that leads to the back yard, slid it open and walked out. I went to the back corner of the yard and went into the trampoline. I layed on my back and stared at the stars. Soon enough I felt the space next to me cave in. I knew exactly who it was with out even looking.
"You okay?" Hayes asked.
"I haven't been okay in years" I sighed.
"I'm sorry"
"Don't be none of this is your fault it was me who made countless mistakes" I said sitting up and putting my head in my hands.
"Hey stop beating yourself up over this A is done, gone and over" He says rubbing my back.
"A might be but the fact that I did what I did with Taylor wont, it just can't be letten go of" I picked my head up and looked at Hayes. I missed his face, as weird as that sounds.
"I know this may sound wrong but it won't go away you can't undo things but you can forget about them for a little while" Hayes said pulling me into him.
"Thank you" I smiled.
"For what?"
"Being there for me after all I've done to you"
"You didn't do anything but make me learn how to love someone" I looked up at him and smiled.
"Honestly you are the best thing that's ever happened to me and no matter what happens between us I'll always love you"
"I'll always love you more" He whispered and pressed his lips onto mine. After a minute I pulled away.
"I gotta go finish talking to my not really dead friend" I whispered.
"That's something you don't hear everyday" He laughed then stood up and put his hands out. I grabbed them and he pulled me up. We walked out of the trampoline and into the house.
"Where's Avery?" I asked once we got to the living room.
"She left and said the she would text you" Matt said I went down to my room real quick and grabbed my phone. I unlocked it and went to my messages.

I looked at the clock and it was 12:03. I went back upstairs to say goodnight to everyone.
"Happy Birthday!" Everyone yelled and tackled me once I reached the top of the stairs.
"Thanks guys" I laughed.
"Okay well I'm going to bed so goodnight and I love you all!" I said and went back downstairs. I went into my room and closed the door I didn't waste anytime and flopped onto my bed. I heard a faint knock on my door.
"Come in" I said and sat up.
"Do you care if I sleep in here? I don't really feel like sleeping on the floor" Hayes said. I laughed and nodded. I moved over and made room for him.
"I missed you a lot" He said putting his arm around me.
"I missed you more" I said snuggling into him. Before I knew it I was fast asleep.

I heard my alarm going off but I ignored it like usually do. After five minutes of the 'Opening' alarm sound I guess Hayes got annoyed. I felt him reach over me to shut it off.
"Cmon birthday girl it's time to get up" He said lightly shaking me.
"Maybe next year" I said pulling the covers over my head.
"Aw it's party day get upp" He pulled the covers off of me.
"Don't make me do it" i could her the smirk in his voice. Before I could move his fingers were on my waste.
"Oh my god stop I'm up please!" I shot up laughing as he tickled me.
"You're so annoying" I said once he stopped. He gasped.
"How dare you" He said pouting.
"Don't tickle me" I said getting up.
"EW you're so sassy"
"Deal with it bruh" I snapped.
"And weird" He added. I stuck my tongue out at him. I loved the fact the everything was getting back to normal.
