Backstage

Charlotte was quite smiling and cheerful, and had every reason to be so. She had finally returned to her work and was dating the man she had been in love with for years. She had lifted a heavy burden from her shoulders, and her only anxiety was to perform her duties worthily as best friend's maid of honor.. Roman on the way from the hotel to the arena was smiling.. He seemed calmer himself..

They arrived and parked their car. They got out, and after they had taken their things out of the trunk of the car, they entangled their fingers and proceeded to the backstage.. Their fellows looked at them in wonder, but they seemed too happy to bother. They left their bags in the dressing room where Becky and Charlotte were sharing, and went to find their friends at catering. They came in, holding hands, and approached their friends ' table. Becky's eye fell on their hands and she smiled..

"Tell me you're finally together?" she asked without even greeting them.

"Yes, we are," said Roman, and he kissed Charlotte tenderly on the hair..

"YEEEEYYYYYY" cried Becky joyfully, making Charlotte burst into laughter..sitting down

"Calm down, sweetie," laughed Roman..

"What? can't I be happy for my friends who are finally together?"Becky asked, and she put out her tongue to Roman. he shook his head laughingly and sat down beside Charlotte.

"My friend, where is he?"Roman asked .

"He went to fetch me some food.. I don't even do this by myself anymore! " laughed Becky and stroked her abdomen

"He takes care of you, and very well he does..in your condition you need more attention," Charlotte advised her as Seth returned to their table.

"Oh, you've come all right," he smiled as he left the plate in front of Becky.

"Our friends start finally dating each other" said Becky, and she began to eat.

"Well,it was about time, I thought you'd never end up on a relationship," Seth said, and they looked at him.

"And did you expect it?"Roman asked, and Seth nodded.

"Course.. come on Roma, let's get ready; now that Charlotte is here she will look after Becky," said Seth, without sitting down..

"All right, let's go.. we'll see you girls in a little while," smiled Roman, he kissed Charlotte's cheek before he got up, the two women nodded as the boys left..

They walked up to the dressing room and entered it.. Seth closed the door behind him and looked at his friend.. He smiled.. Roman looked calmer and more serene than ever.

"Why did you look at me like that?"Roman asked as he took off his shirt

"You look more calm and happy than ever," said his friend, and he began to undress himself.

"I look like that because I am.. It may sound strange, crazy, strange to you, but this woman calms me more than anything, " said Roman, opening his suit case.

"You are in love with her," pointed Seth.. Roman raised his eyes and looked straight at his best friend.

"No, Seth, I'm not in love with her," he said, and Seth looked at him.

"But? What? " asked Seth as he opened his own suitcase..

"I love her.. and I love her very much, I love her deeply. And now I can confess that the whole thing against her was because I was in love with her and couldn't have her. I was married. it was easier to hate her.. But now I can't imagine my life without her," Roman told him.
