The Hospital (Ash Winters x Reader)

Another Hospital visit

-Time Skip-
Y/N
Ash and I walked through the door with Rori and smiled as we walked into the living room. The gang had decorated it with a welcome home banner and pink and blue balloons. I was so surprised. Everyone comes out of the kitchen with big smiles on their faces. "There they are, welcome home," Sarah says. I smile, and we all party till midnight when everyone goes to bed.

-the next day-
Sarah and Chance woke up, got dressed, and met with everyone in the kitchen "morning, everyone," Sarah said as she always did. "Good morning." Everyone replied. After they eat, Chance and Ash kiss their wives and leave the house. Chance had to meet with some people from the police to get them on his side. Sarah was watching a movie when her phone went off, and she answered, "Hello?" Ash was on the other end. "I am so sorry," Ash says. "What happened"? "Chance has been shot." Sarah drops the phone and falls to the floor. Y/n and Ari are at her side in seconds. Ari picks up the phone from the floor. "Ash, get the boss to the hospital, then text me the names of the fuckers who shot him. The Raven is going hunting." "Copy that, be careful, Ari." "Always text the others. I'll drive with Sarah and Y/n to the hospital. Then I'll go hunting. Stay safe." "Always,"  

Ari
I hang up and help the others up. "I'll drive you two to the hospital; then I'll contact some old friends. The Raven has to go hunting for some idiots. I'll call you the second I know anything. Ash calls the others, and we'll meet them at the hospital. Come on." 

Time Skip...

Y/N
I stand outside the room with my pistol in my hand. Ash sat beside me with his head on his knees. I learned that when he's upset, I need to be as strong as I can. Ari left ten minutes ago, and we've been waiting for any calls. I jump lightly when my phone rings. "Ari?" "Yeah, it seems my past keeps returning to haunt me. Franco has teamed up with Markus, and Markus was the one who set up the ambush." "Are you sure you can handle this? I could do it or-" "Y/n, I've got this. It's time that I face my past. I've been running long enough." "Okay, I'll tell the others... Be careful, Ari." "I will. Put Sarah on for me." "Okay." I walk in and hand Sarah the phone. "It's Ari. She wants to talk to you." "Okay..." "Hey Sarah, I found out who did this. I called you so that you can know that I'm going to destroy everyone involved. I'll be back in two days. Please keep me updated on Chance's condition. That way, I know how badly to torture the bastards who put him in there."

Sarah 
I hung up the phone, took a deep breath, and opened the door to Chance's room and my heart broke when I saw Chance in the bed with the monitor beeping keeping him alive. Tears start to pool in my eyes. I walk over to the side of his bed and take his hand. 'I am so sorry.' 
The words fell out of my mouth, and I put my head on his bed beside him and cried. I heard a constant beep sound, and nurses ran into the room. I moved out of their way outside the door, fell to the floor, and cried. Eventually, the constant beeping sound stopped,  and the beeps fell into a rhythm again. So I moved to where Ash and Y/n sat beside them. 

Y/n
Yoyo walks in about five minutes after Ari called. I watch him face fall, and in one of their rare moments, Yoyo bolts over to the bed and latches onto his brother's hand. I get to my feet and walk over to him. "Yoyo, Ari found out who did this. She's hunting them down now... She won't be in for the next two days but asked that we keep her updated on Chance's condition." "She went to go talk to her folks in New York. Her family is protective, and if she's worried, she goes to them for help." So I pull Yoyo and Ash out of the room. Before I leave, I turn to Sarah. "Call me if anything changes, and I'll help you at any moment, I promise," I murmur, walking out of the room.

Ari
I kick in the door of Markus' hideout. "MARKUS! YOU SON OF A BITCH!" "Ah! Ari... it's been a long time..." "Cool it with the small talk. You know why the fuck I'm here. Now, tell me why the fuck you attacked my boss." 

Y/n
I sat outside the Mansion, my mind racing. It's been three days since Ari left, and she hasn't returned yet. Yoyo has started to worry, and I can't blame him. Since Sarah and Ari are pregnant, Ash walks out, holding Rori. "Y/n? Everything okay?" I turn to him. "Everything's fine. I'm just thinking."
