Another month had gone by in Mystic Falls and it couldn't be worse, after the sacrifice Elijah betrayed the gang and saved Klaus in order to get his family back. Damon ended up being bit by a wolf so Stefan had to go offer himself up to Klaus to go get the cure which was his blood. Stefan returned to his ripper ways and joined Klaus on his hunt for werewolves.
Damon and Elena searched relentlessly for Stefan but came up empty handed, but also in the search for Stefan Damon also tried to look for his sister Aurora but also came up empty handed.
So now Stefan and Klaus were in Tennessee heading up on a potential lead and Klaus had noticed how Stefan was even more broody than normal.
He also took notice that when Klaus passes a certain dirt road Stefan eyed it with tears brimming his eyes. Klaus definitely wanted to know what was down that road that made Stefan almost cry.
So after gathering some very useful information from two girls and Stefan killing them Klaus began to drive back to the road with Stefan in the passenger seat next to him.
When they came across the road again Stefan definitely didn't prepare for him to turn on it.
"Klaus what are you doing?" Stefan asked sitting up straighter. He didn't want Klaus to know what lied at the end of the road, or a who.
"Well, I noticed you eyeing this road with tearful eyes so I thought why not." He said in a British accent that had a hint of a tease.
"Klaus please turn around, please." Stefan begged switching his gaze from the road to him.
"Oh now I definitely have to know." He smirked and continued driving down the dirt road.
When the mansion came into view Stefan didn't expect it to look so damaged, vines were wrapped in intricate designs and blood red roses blocking the door, and what he most certainly didn't expect was to see dead bodies hanging from them with flower crowns on them. Stefan definitely knew that this was Aurora and not Azazel, which scared him.
"Well, this is a sight." Klaus said, he was surprised when this is what Stefan was hiding but he didn't think it was a what but a who.
"Klaus please, turn around." Stefan begged with tears in his eyes, Stefan to be honest was terrified. He remembered the threat his sister gave him very vividly.
"Nope come on." Klaus hopped out of the car and Stefan reluctantly followed. Once they came upon the steps Klaus was about to open it but Stefan put a hand in front of him. He bent down and grabbed a pair of gloves and handed it to Klaus. He raised an eyebrow but took them anyway. He slipped them on and opened the gate but stayed next to Stefan.
