A Sea In Which Every Writer Must Drown

A blue raven once approached me,
His beak was wet with reflective ink,
He said, "I have drank from a unique sea,
In which every writer's mind must sink"

I followed him to a shiny beach,
Where nibs and quills laid all around,
In the sand of wisdom so rich,
Every grain was capable to astound

I asked the raven, "Does this sea have a name?"
He said, "Poetry, it drowns you to help you live,
And once you come out you are never the same,
Because a level of superiority your thoughts achieve"

That day I sunk deep into the poetry's heart,
And acquired from it the poet's soul,
Which has tremendously enriched my art,
And now my talent has become whole
