Chapter 5:

Jessica's POV:

Katie drives to the hospital and my foot is being checked out.

"Well. You're ankle is not broken thankfully, but it's sprained. You'll have to stay off that foot for a few weeks. It won't take long to heal, but just be careful." the doctor tells me.

"Okay. Thank you." I reply.

The doctor smiles at me and leaves the room. My leg has little cuts everywhere and my ankle is sprained. Great. What luck. Then Katie comes in.

"Oh my god Jessica! Are you okay? How's your leg? Is it broken? Do you need a cast? Does it hurt a lot?" Katie asks all these questions.

I laugh a bit. "Katie. I'm fine. Just a few scratches and my ankle is sprained. Not badly, but I have to be careful for a few weeks."

"Oh thank god! Why did you run off and get yourself into this mess Jessica?" Katie replies.

"I don't know. It just happened that way. I didn't know I would get hurt. Jeez. I can't read the future or someone's mind telling me that I will get hurt." I tell her.

"I'm reading your mind! You know I'm a psychic. Why you tryin' to hide it hide it?" Katie sings.

"Oh god no! No! Don't sing that song! Jeez. Every time I say something that reminds you of their song, you sing it." I tell her.

"It's a Rusher thing. Katie replies.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah yeah. Sure. It's a Rusher thing..."

"Oh! That reminds me! You need to text James!" Katie suddenly tells me.

"Do I really need to?" I ask.

"Yes! Now text him! Or I will." Katie me.

I sigh and grab my phone. I look through my contacts and see James Maslow. I start texting him.

Hey. It's Jessica. I'm at the nearest hospital from the concert and I'm in room 301. Just thought I'd let you know...

I sent the message and a few second later, I got a reply.

Hey Jessica! You actually texted me! Okay. We'll be there in a few. See you there. -James

I put my phone down and sigh.

"Are they coming? The concert should've ended by now." Katie asks.

"Yeah. You're dream band is coming in a few minutes." I roll my eyes.

"Oh my god! Really?! I'm so happy! You're like my good luck charm Jessica! I mean not only did I get to see them, but I got to be their worldwide girl, go backstage with them, talk with them, and now they're coming here! Oh my god! I love you Jessica!" Katie yells, smiling at me.

I roll my eyes. "Katie... I don't understand why they want to see me anyways. I'm not a big fan of them and plus, they don't need to be here!"

"Well I'm glad they're coming! I'm so happy!" Katie yells, jumping up and down.

"Urgh Katie! Stop it! They said they would be here in only a few min-..." I start to say, but get cut off by the guys entering the room.

"Hey Jessica. How are you feeling? Are you okay?" Kendall asks.

"Yes. I'm fine." I reply.

"How's your leg?" James asks.

"It's sprained, but not badly. It's fine." I reply.

"Okay. That's good." James replies.

"You know you guys don't have to be here. I mean you don't even know me." I tell them.

"Well. We know you now." Carlos replies.

"That's not what I meant." I reply.

"Well. There's something we want to ask you." Logan starts.

"Okay. Go ahead." I reply.

"Would you guys like to go on the tour with us? This was only our first stop. We still have lots of places to go to." Kendall finishes.

"Oh my god! I can't believe they just asked that!" Katie screams.

Then suddenly she stopped jumping up and down.

"Katie. What's wrong? Isn't this what you've always wanted?" I ask her.

"Yeah, but my family and I are going on a family vacation for a few weeks so I can't go, but Jessica will!" Katie replies.

I look at her like she's nuts. "What?!"

She looks at me with begging eyes. "Please Jessica. Just go. For me?"

"What? No... " I reply.

"Jessica. Please... I'm begging you. You can take pictures and record some videos for me. Please! I'm begging you cuz!" Katie says.

I sigh. "Fine. For you...."

Katie comes over and gives me a big hug. "Omg! I love you Jessica!"

"You're welcome Katie. You're choking me." I reply.

She laughs and lets go of me. Well. I guess I'm going on tour with a band I don't even know that well. Big Time Rush.
