I am sitting in my chamber, reading a book about dark magic. Since I discovered my power, I never stayed a single day without training. It was hard at first, beeing all alone. But after I started to know how big and important my power was, it became easier than breathing. I became a well-known villain, I had my own signature so people knew when they became a victim to The Queen Of Broken Glass. I alaways have a small bag attached to may pants strap. And in this bag I keep shards of blood-red glass, so that when I attack I can leave behind a few pieces of broken glass, so the world knows who was responsible. Then I met my people and we isolated ourselves on The Lost Island, so we can enjoy the freedom we cannot have on the continent. The Island is guarded by huge waves and dangerous currents. Even the more experienced sailor can became a victim of the ranging sea.Sometimes the fact that I can control the light seems like a dream, other times is like a nightmare. But those people trusted me, and from allies we became friends. We took care of eachother. This people were my family now.

My thoughts were struck by a short knock on the wooden door. I said to come in and in a matter of seconds I wasn't alone in my room anymore.

"Zamina, Lana said dinner is ready in ten minutes." Said a girl's voice

"Don't tell me Lana made the food for tonight." I chuckled as I put my book down on the table. "You know I love her as a sister, Cleo, but God that girl can't cook even if her life depended of it."

"That means it is a good thing that the twins made dinner for tonight." Smiled Cleo.

I had known her better than anyone else in the crew. She was the first one I met after I ran away. That day she told me how her parents tried to hide her powers for most of her life. But she wasn't a witch like me. No...She was a night fairy, and as her wings started to grew, it became harder for her family to hide it. She told me that since she was five, her parents started to cut her wings every year on her birthday, as a reminder that she was never going to be the child they wanted. On her sixteen birthday she ran away and swore she would never came back. The girl I met in the woods was totally diffrent then the one that was now in front of me. Her hair stayed the same brownish color, but her dark eyes had now something like a sparkle in them, and this time it wasn't from her tears. Her wings had grown beautifully, dark blue like the sky of a starry summer night. She was happy to be herself around us. We were all diffrent, but that made us a familly.

"We should go down there, before they eat all the food. I may be feared by half the country, but I can't bring terror with an empty stomach." I suggested.

"You're right. The last one down wash the dishes for a week." Yelled Cleo as she started flying to the kitchen.

"Hey! That's not fair! I dont have wings! And beside, you didn't even said START!"

And with that I started laughing and running to the dinning room.
