The night came faster than I thought it would. Shortly after we ate, everyone raised from the table to mind their own business. Everyone but me. I was staring blankly out the window. The sea had been calm all day, but since the dark, the foaming waves began to stir more and more. It was a starless night. When I was a child, I used to know that story about the night fairies who stole the stars in the sky, so they can make some kind of magic powder. But Cleo told me that this were just old stories for children. But even now I still wonder where did the stars go.
I was soon brought back to reality when I felt someone sitting next to me. I raised my gaze to meet the bright green of Lana's eyes. Her face was so serious, I thought something really bad happened. She raised her arms and put an old book on the table in front of us. The book had yelowish pages which were full of notes written in slightly bent letters, calligrphic, easy to decipher. "Crystals and their influence on the powers of magical creatures" was the title of the chapter we were looking at. I gasped and indicate for Lana to say what she came here for.
"Zami, you know that, since we found the moonstone for my ring, we all wanted some kind of stone to make our power grow." It was true. Two years ago we went looking for a moonstone, so we can make Lana a piece of jewlery to help her. We all decided that a ring was the best obtion. The moonstone had a good efect on her, allowing her to go out in the sunlight without suffering because she was a vampire. So, as long as she had the ring, sje could enjoy tje sun. Since then we searched for some thing that could have a good efect on all of our powers. There were stones that helped the fairies, stones that helped the werewolves, but none who could help all of us. I nodded and let her continue. "Well I might finally found something. The Seven Amethysts of Life. This are effective for all of us: help werewolves to be in control during their transformations-so that they cant kill innocent people; help fairies to conserve their energy-so that they can fly longer distances; help vampires with thier need for blood-so that we could live without it; and they also help witches to grow they powers at a level no one heard of. You will be the most powerful witch everyone heard!"
I was at a lose of words. That was the best thing I ever heard. We all would have absolute control over our powers if we find that ametysts. "That's amaizing! We will be at our best if we can find them." I said as I looke over at one picture from the book with athe Seven Amethysts. The all had a purpleish color and were all really pretty. "Do you know where to find them?" I asked, taking my eyes of the picture.
"In Tethoris. There is that forest, The Crystal Woodland, where we can find them. I know this is so far away, but this might be our best chance Zamina." And she was right. Tethoris was a village at north of the Vanora Sea. There was no doubt: we will need a ship. "Let's talk to the others about that tomorrow. We will need to make a plan and we'll need to find a ship witch can take us to Tethoris." Lana nodded and smiled at my words.
Suddenly, there was a terrible thunder outside. We both looked out the window and Lana said: "Seastorm. God help the sailors." I nodded and we both got up from our sits and went to our rooms.
