Cara's POV
*beep* *beep* *beep* it was seven in the morning, first day of school. It was early I mean I was still in that summer routine if you ask me not like my summer was anything other than going on tumblr and exceeding my post limit recklessly not that I didn't mind. Sav and I shared a room even though our house consisted of 7 other rooms but after mom died we were closer than ever. Since we were both the same age and shared the same birthday we liked the idea that everyday was like a sleepover, childish I know. I think people didn't quite grasp our relationship we were different but we got along pretty well. Oh right I have to get ready for school yay...note the sarcasm. I had to wake Savannah up even after the alarm had gone off since she wasn't a morning person at all.
"Sav get up! Time to go to school! Wake up! Wake up!" I said as I opened the blinds to let the light in.
"Ugh, seriously? Did you really have to wake me up like that?!" She asked with annoyance plastered all over her face.
"Yes, yes! Now go get ready" I laughed at how lazy she was in the morning.
"I call the bathroom first." She said happily with a hint pf wanting me to get annoyed since she takes forever!
"But why you take forever, you take hours while I just need 10 lovely minutes." I wined.
She grabbed her bathroom necessities and robe and giggled her way out to the washroom.
"Sav you are such a pain in the butt." I murmured to myself but loud enough for her to hear.
"Love you too sis"she replied with an evil grin.
*45 minutes later*
"Finally you decided to get out now! Because of you i will barely have time to eat and get ready Savannah Jade Austin!" I said a bit to loud and dramatically.
"Oh shut it" was all that she managed to say since she knew I was right.
"Whatever" I replied without hesitation and rolled my eyes at her.
I walked into the bathroom and undressed myself and turned the hot water on and slipped into the shower. I massaged my hair as I implemented shampoo on my hair and conditioner as well and lastly some coconut body wash mhm my favourite. I turned the hot water off and blundered out of the shower, looking for a towel since I was shivering from the cold breeze entering through the window Sav probably opened, I thought. I wrapped myself in the towel since I had forgotten my robe back in my room. As I made my way towards my room and walked into my room to see Sav wearing something overly casual, typical Sav I mentally laughed.
"You look fancy Sav, excited to see your boyfriend Alex!" I winked at her and laughed as her cheeks slightly turned red.
"Yes, a girl must always look decent for her boyfriend" not that I would know anything about that as she giggled and playfully brushed my shoulder.
Sav was sporting her straight hair into thick ringlets, a cute creamy blazer, flower patterned jeans, high heals, an extravagant necklace and her brown Prada bag she received for Christmas by me. I let my hair dry into its natural beachy waves and looked through my closet and changed into my dark coloured jeans, a cute creamy muscle top, earrings and my white converse. I wasn't the fashion icon of the school like my sister but I did a good job in looking casual. I headed over to my dresser and mirror to apply minimum makeup consisting of some mascara and lipgloss. We both grabbed our belongings and headed downstairs for breakfast.
"Hello girls I made some pancakes and bacon for guys to devour" Sue our chef said overly happy.
"Thanks I'm really hungry, happen to have some Nutella for these yummy pancakes" I asked.
"Cara how can you eat such a thing that has over 300 calories! Sue I will just have a milkshake, no sugar please"
Sav said, see the thing about her was that ever since she started developing physically she started to diet because one day Brittany pointed out something everybody feared which was Savannah's weight. She told her she needed to loose a couple of pounds otherwise she would never fit into her prom dress. I know bitchy right?
"Whatever Savannah let me eat my over 300 calories breakfast while my teenage life still exist." I replied teasingly.
"Alright Savannah here is your milkshake to go and girls have a great day at school, Tom has your lunch money and he's waiting in the car! Bye take care!"
Sue said she was very sweet and she raised us after my mother had passed away she was like a stand in mother you could say. We grabbed our school bags and headed outside towards the car. Although we were both eligible to drive Tom always took us to school since he said it was a tradition at first we put up a fight about it but we later realized it was sweet for him to do so. Good thing was that Sav and I were allowed to leave our cars at the school overnight after our father bought the two parking spaces which meant that we didn't need to be picked up after school since we usually did not go straight home. The car ride wasn't very long and since we usually had a short conversations with Tom it went by quicker. As we arrived to school all I could think was Brittany will make this year another living hell?
