The man raises his fist for an attack. Zelda swiftly dodges grabbing his wrist and rotates the latter’s hand behind his back while clicking her tongue at his incompetent attacks.

The round man grunts, “you’re gonna pay for this girl. Remove. Now.”

“first tell me where the goods are and then I’ll think of letting you go.”

“THERE THEY ARE!! COME ON BOYS!” a familiar voice shout from afar.

Zelda looks up to the approaching figures. Kicking the man where his tail bone lies and she fled. For Zelda, this was nothing fresh.

Climbing up and making it to the roof of the maroon two story house, she is faced with another obstacle. The boy launches a punch to her face making the lip bleed under the mask. retreating she slides a kick on his ankle by which he loses his balance.

Taking the opportunity, she jumps to another roof, this one with a terrace. And as she is to speed run, more men come to attack.

Fighting their kicking and punching, one gets fainted because of a kick, two are pushed to the edge and the last remaining takes charge. Using his foot to push her down to the hard concrete but is unsuccessful as Zelda drapes her arm on his leg and smashes him in the flooring. They boy is not out yet. Gathering the rest of his energy he hooks his lower leg and much to his strength, he snaps it forward. Zelda comes crashing down on a little lemonade shop made by a toddler. This attracts attention and shrieks from the people around.

Groaning from the hit on the ground, Zelda opens her eyes and stands up, dusting her jumpsuit. Though among all these people, she recognizes the familiar big brown eyes. Mind running with thoughts, Zelda grabs the girl’s hand and sprints off, taking the surprised girl with her. Jogging into a secluded alley way, Zelda leans on a wall and bends down breathing heavily to take in more air.

“I-is that you Zelda?”

The mentioned looks up and raises an eyebrow testing the girl.

“are you okay?” Arienne rests her palm on Zelda’s shoulder, concern filled in her eyes.

“I’m fine.” She says and removes her mask.

“Zelda stop saying you’re fine, you’re literally bleeding!” Arienne gasps and frantically searches for something in her jean pockets, possibly for a handkerchief.

“my goodness you’re covered in bruises.” she dabs the soft cloth in her bleeding lower lip. “how did this happen?”

“that’s none of your concern right now.” Zelda states coldly.

Giving her a look, “right, my concern right now is treating your wounds. Come, let’s go home.” Arienne backfires.

Arienne moves to walk but Zelda takes her wrist.

“not home.”
