Kye and I walked into the cafeteria together and I scanned the room. At a
table towards the back I saw my brothers, Johan, Jordan, Joss, Asuna, and Kirito chatting and laughing.
"Hey. I see my friend. I gotta go." He started walking off but I took a hold of his wrist. "Hold on, I want to give you something." I took a post-it note and wrote down my phone number and gave it to him. "Call me anytime you like." I winked at him.
He smiled then turned and walked off. I went over to where my brothers were sitting with a face of glee. I know its kind of sudden to give him my number but I felt like we could be really good friends. Maybe even more.
"What's got you so chipper today?" Haou asked as I approached. I blushed a bit trying not to think about Kye but was very unsuccessful. "Jeez Hikari, You look as red as a tomato."
Judai joked.I stood behind him and slapped him in the back of the head with so much force, he almost hit his head on the table.
I went over to where Haou was sitting and sat down next to him. "By the looks of it my baby sister must have a crush." Haou whispered to me. I shook my head. "No. No. It- It's not like that at all. We're just-" "What's his name?" I sighed. I wasn't going to win this battle so I may as well just tell him.
"His name is Kye." He stared at down at the ground for a little bit. "Kye...Kye. Why does that sound so familer to me? Ohh. I know. That girl I met, Naomi, said she had a little brother named Kye. But..." He started to trail off. "What? What's bothering you?" I asked him. "Oh. She wears an eyepatch. I just wondered why she wears it." He started to blush a light red and I could only assume he was thinking about this girl.
"Haou, do you have a crush on this Naomi girl?" I quietly asked. He blushed even deeper and slightly nodded. "Yeah. A little bit." I giggled. " I'm going to have to meet the lucky girl then. Just to make sure she meets my standards. " I joked. He jerked his head up and playfully elbowed me."Well if you get to meet Naomi, then I get to meet Kye. Just to see if he meets my standards." He mocked. I blushed a bit. "S-Shutup!" I stuttered.
